Thanks for this however, you told us that we need for the blade setting but what about the settings within the machine? E.g. the speed and the cut depth?
The stencil material has a sticky back and I would think you did not use the sticky material to stencil the design on top of the cake as the glue would adhere to the cake while stenciling. What was used for the cake and the cups of coffee that have coca stenciled on top of the coffee?
The Brother ScanNCut CASTCL1 Stencil Sheets are shown in the link below: www.brother-usa.com/products/castcl1 To cut this material with the Brother ScanNCut CM650WX, you can use the standard blade with a blade setting between 3-4 and a blade pressure of 0 is recommended but we also recommend that you perform a test cut on your machine first.
Gosh, I wish you had a little more on this video. So, how did the stencil material hold up? Did you paint with brush. I guess the video covers just cutting the stencil. The result is beautiful. Did you try to reuse the stencil? As usual, very informative video.
You are able to scan various materials to make a cut file. Depending on the model of ScanNCut you are using, will determine the thickness you are able to cut.
I just just the scanncut 2 and my machine doesn’t have the up and down arrow on the first pattern page. That’s a real bummer that it doesn’t come with what is demonstrated!
I grow more and more frustrated with this software everyday! Seems to me brother really isn’t putting a lot of thought into this. I’m trying to make a stencil with fonts. And every single inside letter has to have a shape brought in resized then put on the letter then try and get it to weld and subtract which I can’t seem to consistently do. They know this is something we buy these machines for so why isn’t there a button to change a font into a stencil cut? Constantly having to buy more accessories as well! I’m starting to think I should have purchased a cricket!
Really love how easy this is! Did it first try!!! Thanks for another inspiring video!
thank you - am working my way through different videos, to try to learn more
