Dan's Road Kill Cafe located in the middle of a National Forest in Colorado was my favorite place to go when camping or road trekking. Very busy Forest Road intersection right there and campgrounds nearby they always had a supply of fresh kill...government approved of course. Several years ago however it closed and it is now a cozy restaurant with a decent family menu.
My favorite restaurant is a fifties style diner that is covered in pop culture items from that era. They still play golden oldies over the speakers. The food is classic diner food. It's legendary because it's where the smash burger craze started. They have the best burgers but their breakfast is just as good. They even serve the infamous green river (my favorite soda). So go to schoops in NW Indiana
Have enjoyed dinner at Medieval Times, but was surprised that you overlooked Lamberts Cafe - Home of Throwed Rolls - where the serves throw your dinner rolls to you from across the room - with the original location in Sikeston, Missouri and more recent additions in Foley, Alabama and Ozark, Missouri - have been enjoying their food and country atmosphere for close to 50 years.
My nanna (the woman that practically raised me) was from sikeston and got to go there twice. Every year her family would pack up the RV and make a weekend of it. They would go from Davenport Iowa to sikeston for among other things the throwed rolls. We used a fishing net
The restaurant dicks last resort sounds like the holidays with my family where we play our favorite game "poke the bear" where we insult and disrespect each other to see how far we can go til there's a fist fight. My grandfather and I are the best and have made people cry 😭😭😭
I believe, although I have no proof, that the first laundromat that also had a bar was The Bar Of Soap in the Deep Ellum neighborhood of Dallas. A lot of SMU students as well as a few HS students from the Park Cities and other private schools used to hang out there. As long as you were doing laundry they never carded anyone. This was in the late 1980s through at least 1991.
In the early 1980s, in Ft. Collins Colorado, there was a laundromat + bar near the CSU campus. Don't remember if it was called Suds & Duds or Duds & Suds. They also had plenty of tables & chairs, if you wanted to do homework instead, while waiting on your laundry. It's long gone.
What was the most bizarre restaurant you have ever been to?

Of all of these gimmicks, Harvey Washbanger's sounds the most practical, particularly for students at nearby Texas A&M.
Just took my son to The Safe House. It’s was a blast. When the secret entrance opened to go in the look on his face was priceless
SafeHouse, The Tonga Room, and The Fishbowl all sound like fun, I’d like to go there
Bubble room is really good

Went to Lambert's a month after we moved to Missouri. Wasn't impressed, all the free sides were cold and the Catfish was tough.
