Thank you!!! Thank you for sharing your adventure. Thank you for including us as you walked this journey. I am going to walk the Camino in April/May 2020.... Your videos were, hands down, some of the best I have seen... well done... once again, THANK YOU! Cheers
First step done (Villafranca Del Bierzo to Santiago, 26 Sept-06 Oct 2018); now planning SJPP to Villafranca Del Bierzo for the next one, to complete the Camino Frances.
Thank you for letting us join you on this journey .. for your videos and your company I wish you good fortune and hope to see you again on another journey
The last scene had me dabbing my eyes :) I will start my Camino next year and I will draw upon your experiences and advice.. I haven't looked ahead but I sure hope you have a video somewhere of your arrival in Santiago. This has been the best Camino series I have watched... you have such an approachable and positive manner. Thank you so very much for sharing your journey.
Loved following your journey. - my wife and I walked the Frances in Sep/Oct 2017. On the final stage we stopped for some fast food on the outskirts of Santiago - our first burger and fries in 40 + days! Fortunately we were in Espania which meant 90 minutes watching the pilrims pass by and keeping us up to date! So thanks to Denise we had the pleasure of walking into Santiago with David and Elizabeth and meeting up with Martin and Sue and NZ John & others. our hearts were filled. 😍 Sad to hear Lisa & Joe had to stop within the last 100 km. :( I know they will be back and revel in the joy of a pilgrimage completed
Awww that was awesome...I had a feeling you would push on!!! Thanks so much for videos so full of history, your actual trek, and your great sense of humor! I am taking your advise and am taking my first step in April! I can hardly wait!
BEST Camino videos on RUclips. So well done, and I so appreciate the details of how much you spent each day. I am going on my first Camino April/May of 2018. I can't wait! Thank you so much for sharing your experience. :-)
In bed at the moment with Lumbago, I have really enjoyed your videos. I hope to make it one day. Thank you for sharing your good humour and knowledge of the Camino. BRAVO !
I thank you for sharing your camino with all of us....................You have showed me a lot and I am very anxious to start mine! Thank you again and I wish you many more wonderful adventures!
I don't know if you'll see this but I have been binge watching your vlogs the whole day and I am absolutely in love with you and all your videos....okay bye!....(going to camino 2020)
Thank you for sharing "your way" - I have loved every minute you have sent on the You Tube canal and I will repeat it Alain One day. In Denmark starting the 28 th of september, we Can see One of our tv reporters start walking as a pilgrim in Japan (about 1000 km) in tv. I Think they will send about 30-60 minutes every week.
Congratulations! Have loved watching these amazing videos! I leave in June for my Camino walk. Which guide book did you use? And is there anything you would have done differently looking back?
thank you Juliana. I took el Camino De Santiago by Sergi Ramis and the one by John Brierley is excellent as well. Anything differently? Get a data plan. Wifi is horrible at the albergues and also to make reservations
Hello, Thanks a lot for all good information. One question: Can you use a tent on the strait. I mean setting up your own tent, in the garden of the albergas or somewhere else.
only saw a few people camping. Albergues are so abundant that there is no need unless you want to. I also saw pilgrims washing their tents at Albergues and using the showers.
Thank you Efren, great videos, I am doing my pilgrimage on April this year and I wonder if they have blankets in municipal Albergues, or I must have a sleeping bag?
Just watched the WHOLE of your camino in one sitting. Thank you for bring it to life for us all - I've done the Camino Frances four times now and the Camino Portuguese once and had doubts about doing it again but . . . . perhaps the Camino Ingles next year :) Buen Camino, Perigrino! (by the way, what camera were you using?)
You said you lost weight...how much do you think you lost total? I will be doing the Camino at the end of May 2018 alone. I am praying for guidance and safety. I am excited. I am also fluffy..ha SO, just curious of the weight loss.
hehe Well, I like to eat...so, there's that too. ha 17 lbs wow. And not just weight, you probably put on lots of muscle too, right? at least on the legs and butt. Did your clothes fit ok during the walk...with so much weight and probably inches lost? Thank you for your reply BTW. LOVE LOVE LOVE your Vlogs. I have been binge watching. I tell myself only 2-3 a day and an hour later, I am still mesmerized.
Thanks for watching. Towards the end my clothes started to feel looser, especially around my waist. I do a lot of mountain climbing so as far as muscle I don't think I gained much but then again who's looking lol
I love your smile & enthusiasm.
Thanks for the reminder, I did it all last year solo, loved every minute of it. I made it all the way to Finisterre. Loved being a pilgrim.
I'm setting off on El Camino Ingles - in 25 sleeps, I can't begin to say how much your awesome posts have helped and inspired me :)
