I have watched all your RUclips clips and enjoyed them all. I feel you have conviead to us thetrue spirit of the Camino and I thank you so much for your wonderful gift
I am so happy here for you to be able to walk again on such a wonderful few days - It would have been so sad for you not to have continued to Finisterre
The odd thing about the beginning of the Finisterre route is that I found it easily the first time I walked it. But the second time I took a wrong turn immediately. Same time of morning with the same light level both times. You have to keep going straight across a road after the very first street, when you would expect to make a right turn instead. There is an alternative start to the route which runs along a stream and which you find at an exit to a small park below the San Francisco Church & hotel. This will bring you to the same point (about 1km) as the official route (i.e. the small 'bridge' formed by a series of stones). There is now a cafe at about 6km from Santiago. Keep a watch for a red, round Coca Cola sign. It is just to the right when you see a bus stop.
I've watched all your Santiago videos so far, so informative (as opposed to some), also you seem to be much fitter / used to the walk than at the start. Congratulations!
Totally enjoyed following your travels. Great idea to tally costs and great to see you share history highlights of the many villages you pass thru . My wife and I are both interested in doing the Camino possibly this fall . If your ever in Nova Scotia Canada please contact room in the inn here for you .
@@Walk_with_Efren Yes, I've watched some of those great videos too. Your determination and accomplishments embarrass me. I was only walking from Viterbo, and still couldn't finish! I had an attack of sciatica in my left leg and couldn't limp any farther. You're an inspiration for me! Maybe next time I'll get my Testimonium.
We’re at Olveiroa at the moment. Just wanted to say that the waymarking out of Santiago de Compostela must have improved since you walked the route. Loving the Finisterre so far - peaceful with beautiful countryside 🙂
Love the videos, great reminders of my own camino. Here's a bit of belated advice. Always check the evening beofore (when it is daylight) where you are heading out the next morning, especially if you are leaving in the dark. Not being funny but perhaps you shouldn't have chucked your headlamp away!
I am in Mansilla de las Mulas and just back from a pilgrim's dinner and what do I see? My favorite Camino vlogger continuing his journey! Welcome back! Look forward to you final few days to Finistère.
I took the left fork route also, but later on a hospitalero at Alto de Pena told me the alternative route is very beautiful, taking a route down the valley along by a river. If I do this again, I'll try the alternative route option.
Just finished the Camino and to fisterra in late sept early October. We may have just missed each other! After editing and uploading one of my videos your video popped up in the recommended! Glad it did! Love the video and subscribed! I didn't get confused as much leaving Santiago but when I got to CEE!! Now that will get you lost!! Keep on walking and Buen Camino!
This is really good series of videos. Efren does not annoy me at all and this is a lot to say. Efren please consider doing similar videos about another gem which is Camino Portuguese.
thank you Miro, I'm glad I didn't annoy you. good news is I just finished the Portuguese camino, the ingles and del norte. bad news is it's going to take some time to put it all together but hang in there.
@@Walk_with_Efren Great, I am looking forward to it since I feel the call again. In any case take a look at a map I put together for caminho. It might be of some use to you while editing videos. Best wishes, Miro caminhomap.com
1:54 I see nothing on that tree that resembles a Camino arrow/marker? What made you think it was? lol Good video, BTW...and when I walked the Camino I always enjoyed walking through the towns in the early morning at first light. So cool...
in person it looked like one to me. it could have been an optical illusion with the yellow light from the street lamp. *** this is one of the reasons why I started using GPS tracks on my phone.
Waking up with the EfrenG Show! In Australia we get the upload alert overnight, so it's like Christmas the last 2 mornings. This 1st stage and the following will be handy as my Camino stage planning is now Fisterra/Muxia. Thanks matey👍🏻

Nunca me canso de ver tus vlogs, nunca he estado en Fisterra, pero espero que antes de cumplir los setenta en 2 anos amigo
Easily the best Camino videos on RUclips. Atb Ian.
Thank so much for sharing your journey! I hope you continue to invite us!

I am so looking forward to the rest of your adventure. As always, you’ve done a great job with the filming. Also, both times I guessed wrong(ha, ha).
This video reminds me sooo much of my time on La Via Francigena, a couple years ago. I was lost and alone most of the time! Great videos!
I did the francigena last year too

Great Videos!! I did the camino last year and this series of videos has been a joy to watch.
I bet a lot of people say "Aguapesada", but it's "Augapesada". I walked to Finisterre in 2014 after my second camino from St Jean to Santiago.
Your sense of humor is contagious! LMHO, ( 10% discount and snakes ! Hahaha )
jajaja that was a good one
