I have been watching Cleet since his RUclips beginning, and I've seen him blow up lots of things. This is the most shaken I have ever seen him after a run.
I think the oil on the track worried him more than anything. He does love that truck though. lol
When the blazer had the linkage fall out of the master cylinder and George had no brakes, is the only time I can recall him breaking the fun guy character. He was genuinely shook up. A little scared, a little mad at a safety oversight, obviously relieved everything was ok. He wasn't cleet for a minute there. He was a concerned friend, business owner, man responsible for everything going on. And he of course, handled it like a pro. Great dude, this Garrett Mitchell.
edit to add. I really appreciate how much thought for safety is put into this channel. It's OK to wear a fire suit and a helmet. You can have fun and still maintain a level of caution and safety equipment. Cheers to such an overall success as McFarland Entertainment has become.

Private rentals are a thing, you could rent it just the same. I imagine cleet gets a special price structure do to how often he does it, but he’s having to at least be covering costs to have it prepped and ready

It wasn't Tye's car. It's Cleet's. All the cars the shop guys drive are his. The only reason Tye was in the car was to hit the brakes. They were not going to make a race pass, dragging an unsecured car with a person in it. It was a skit.

Let's see... Cleet has towed about 10 vehicles so far without ever straping the tires down once and only had one casua;ty so far. That's a 90% success rate!
all it takes is once when you on a public street and that vehicle that gets dropped rolls into incoming traffic..... How ever unlikely you think the chances are, it could still seriously injure someone or worse. I get it when he is on his own property but on a public road, come on. stop playing with the publics safety for a video.
