YES. I was coming to the comments to sat the same thing re: the twins couple. I second, third, four-hundredth this. Send the Happy Holidays text, and if you want to be bolder, write something like, "So glad to have met you this year. Would love to schedule a [play-date / game night / coffee / whatever] in the New Year!"
Splitting thread tip: make sure you're only ever pulling 1 thread at a time. Even if you want 3 strands in the end, pull them out one at a time and hold the others firmly so they don't slide. In my experience, the knots come when multiple strands are sliding at once.
The way i thought Matt said "yeah, I'm not doing that" when Becky said expreas your emotions more lolol

Embroidery tips!!: for splitting thread I let gravity and natural spin help me split thread! Like when you pull it apart lift it up so it will naturally untangle itself as you pull. Also just do it slowly so you can catch any knots before they get bad 💜 hopefully that makes sense 😅
cross stitcher here! hopped over to the comments just to say that if you hold the whole thread from the middle and then slowly pull one thread from the top, you shouldn't get any knots! only pull one at a time too. every time i try to do more than one, it becomes a mess. love that you're getting into embroidery/stitching Becky!

I'M A WEIRD QUAIL LADY!! I have 11!! Ive had a few fatalities and injuries along the way. But i truly love my little babies. I sprout them micro greens and give them lots of treats. They all have their own personalities and watching them is pretty therapuetic. ❤

@@jdavisjohnson3380 No problem at all~ I'm from Thailand though, our nickname have nothing to do with our first name, just something short and simple, so we can be called easier, cause our first names are usually long or conplex to pronounce, my first name is Waethakar, but my mom kinda likes Minnie mouse, so my nickname is Minnie and my younger brothers are Mickey and Winnie(the pooh)🤣

Hahaha I’m a vet at a spay and neuter clinic and found it very funny and interesting that they knew for males the testicles get fully removed but then were shocked it’s the same for the females.
But yes removing the ovaries is the most important part to remove as that controls the hormones that cause them to go into heat and stimulates the uterus and mammary glands (which over time can lead to pyometra -infection in the uterus- or cancers) and without ovaries there are no eggs to get fertilized for a pregnancy either but it is way way more common to just remove the ovaries and uterus together.

Becky, about that couple who hasn't responded/contacted you. Maybe they are busy like you said, but maybe they just got scared. There is a big chance that when they met you, they didn't know you and Keith were online celebrities and then later at home they googled you or something and realized that you were not just a regular couple, but online couple with quite a lot of followers/fans. To be honest, I would also chicken out and you can't really blame them. It's nothing personal, it's just not for everyone. At least that was my first thought, there could be other reasons as well 🙃

Becky - to stop knots in thread you can get a wax to pull your thread through once in the needle. Usually in a plastic case with slots to pull it through. I got a paraffin wax one and it helps but I think bees wax/more natural wax would be better as the paraffin one leaves it a little stiff. Hope that helps, I also hate splitting threads!
Becky’s story meeting a fun couple sounds like that FRIENDS episode where Monica and Chandler met that couple on their honeymoon and the couple gave them their wrong number to M&C 😂

A spay for female animals is removing all the parts! I know because my family adopted our childhood dog from the shelter, and the shelter said she was spayed, but turned out she was not, and she had her uterus infected at one point :(

@@kathleenuclearI know 😭 I was so shocked when the doctor said she wasn't actually spayed. She lived for a while after that incident thankfully! She's gotten her wings since then 🥺

Okay splitting embroidery floss to threads, what I do is:
1: Start the split in my fingers
2: I keep the threads I need in my dominant hand.
3: I keep the bulk of the floss that I’m splitting from in my mouth (sorry if that’s gross 😅)
4: I use my non dominant hand to hold the opposite end of the entire bundle, and I pull it tight, no slack in the thread.
5: I pull the threads I need in my dominant hand away from the main strand that I’m holding tight with my moth and other hand!
Keeping tension on all ends helps stop the thread from knotting!
And for threading your needle, if licking the thread aint your style, grab a candle and run the end of your thread against the wax. Don’t light the candle just rub the thread agains the body of the wax. It’ll help stiffen just that end of thread and keep it from fraying

I also picked up hand embroidery shortly after my first was born … I do a lot of other sewing too, but I found hand embroidery great when I was nap trapped. The best way to split your threads is to put out 1 at a time … it looks like the remaining threads are going to knot, but they rarely do. Here’s a good short (I don’t know the channel, so I can’t recommend everything):

I honestly can't imagine how hard life must be for people with anxiety. My chill factor borders on nihilism these days. Whatever happens, happens and I will just deal with the consequences - that's just life. I can't say I understand the whole "it's a man thing" though? Seems like a lot of it is either brain chemistry or the way you were raised.
I was getting frustrated that Matt didn't actually disclose anything and turned it into a "how well do you know me" instead, then I heard he was a Virgo, and it all made sense LOL
When spaying (which is for females) the vet removes uterus and ovaries because dogs can get a very very bad infection in their uterus it fills with puss and can rupture and the infections can just happen usually during or at the end of the dogs heat cycle
Legoland is much more geared towards children. I wouldn't go without a kid. But it IS fun for kids of all ages. Lots of stuff for Littles to do.

Ok so for Becky to separate threads----- hold the top of the thread you want in one hand and all the rest in the other and keep the bottom in your mouth as you pull them apart. Works every time, no tangles

IMO BetterHelp hate is virtue signaling. It’s not great by any means but it’s a public option that, for me, provided support for me and my mental health when my bs health insurance did not
At the end of the day they're a business. I know Better Help has done some shit things, but it's personally helped me in a pinch, and is accessible to folks. If this is the price for amazing content, then I'm fine with it.
Honestly I had more of an issue when they had Native as a sponser...and then on an episode talked about how natural deodorants don't work for them (I think that was the Try Pod though to be fair).
At this point, I'm pretty sure it's Ramble that sets the sponsor segments and they just have to read them
Are the people who keep hating better help scorned patients or just picking up a buzzword issue. I used them for a while in the pandemic and had a good experience and all the stuff people complain about (data sharing, bad therapists) exist in other therapy models too.
The yuckiest ickiest thing better help has done is partner with a literal genocidal state to offer free therapy to the aggresing population. But that happened two weeks ago yet ive been reading these oppositions to better help for like a year. And i mean partnering w genocidal states as a reason not to support a company would mean we couldn’t even use youtube…
Fight your important fights but come on energy is finite put it somewhere useful.
Betterhelp hate is textbook virtue signaling. I really valued the sessions I had with my Better Help therapist, also during Covid. Obviously it’s quite the profit-driven machine but like.. is there any other public option available (honest question)?
