- The mighty Nkuhlu Coalition-a group of male lions that's not only growing in size and reputation but, more importantly, in confidence. We have seen them on numerous occasions here at Lion Sands as they patrol the border of Kruger National Park and Sabi Sand, seemingly finding a core territory here.
"On this morning, we left Lion Sands Narina Lodge early. We spotted a lioness downstream on the rocks, and then the call from Field Guide Jabualni came in: 'Just located the 5 Madoda Ngalas.' These were the words I had been waiting to hear for three days.
We ended up spending over 30 minutes with them, watching as they crossed the Sabie River over a legendary wooden bridge in Kruger National Park. What an incredible moment this was, with guides and guests filled with excitement," says Francois Fourie

This has to be the most incredible sighting I've seen in many months nice full manes who are these handsome kings
Nkhulus. There’s 7 total
Awesome 👏
They get some size on them...then wow...
There’s still two other ones , they might not take over much land as mapogos but they will be here a long time
are they on lion sands for good , also are talamati ladies here to stay also
We see them regularly at Tinga and Narina but they still move quite alot
AND THE KINGS OF THE FUTURE DID INDEED STRIDE WITH PURPOSE... WAR IS IMMINENT...
There definitely weiry...where there's females unknown to them, there is possibility pride males not far away or with them...they seem to be stopping alot in this sighting, def so they can listen..... awesome sighting...
Weren't they seven when they were young + another older male joined their coalition making it 8 ? Am I right on that? Or were they 6 + older male making it 7?
Since we saw them they were 6 + 1 older male making them 7 in total
The nkhulu pride had 8 young males and then dreadlocks the older male joined the pride and is basically their adopted father figure but of the 8 Nkhulus 3 are younger and only 1 of the younger 3 is with the older 5 brothers and the older male so 2 are missing and have never been seen with these boys but yes 7 male lion coalition
Those boys are going to do some damage, if they stay in that tight of a group.
Correct..yes they seem to be always together...
Looks very skinny, aren't they getting enough food?
They are prefectly fine, lions tend to go through patches but one good meal they are fine again. One of them had an injury but seems to be on the mend
Hmm...the boys aren't very big. Nothing like the 5 Birmingham boys when they showed up on the scene with huge bodies and big manes. Even the younger Kambula boys seem a bit bigger than these boys...
These boys are a force because of their numbers.
Still 500lb+ raw power!!
They looked a little skinny to me.
Still young
@@tylermartin9017 Same age as the Kambula boys. Kambula boys are a little more robust. Kambula boys are gorgeous!!!
@@auntiez4917 how old are they?
Will u just LOOK at them????? So so superior humans are nothing really
