I have to say, while I really liked and somewhat prefer how Alien X's voice in Alien Force/Ultimate Alien was a combination of all three of the voices within him, the new epic and heroic voice he has here is really cool! I have repeated that moment where Alien X stopped the gladiator's attack and goes "SURPRISE!" so many times.

People were so harsh on omniverse. I've been watching ben 10 literally since the day it started airing on tv the first time, and i liked the whole series, and i always felt it was so underrated
The trailers weren't good but I decided to give it a chance the day of releasand I was instantly hook in the first few seconds, it felt like og series again. Omniverse also motivated to finish ultimate alien (the show had me quit the franchise).

Sure it retcons some things, but literally every ben 10 series besides the OG has included them major retcons.
It is still a sore topic for me, while the storyline may be good, the artstyle to me is just a mockery of the previous versions. It's like they created a Gen Z version of Ben 10, totally hip & colorful, but no I liked the millennial Ben 10 in AF, UA and also the classic.

It takes a more comic book artstyle as opposed to the overly dark and gritty style used by Alien Force and Ultimate Alien. The omniverse artstyle is great, and if you don't like it, its simply a matter of opinion. Maybe you just dont like the comic book style

All of the sounds in Omniverse are great. For the aliens specifically. You know how in classic each alien got unique sounds for their powers and voices? Omniverse being those Jack and does it for every alien.
This is the only moment we see Alien X actually in a close quarter fight (kindal. In any other moment, he's only seen using his celestialsapien powers without needing physical contact.
I love how ben singlehandly becomes the strongest being in his univsrse and one of the strongest in all fictional universes by just telling his two checks "go fight in the corner I'll do the unfun stuff"

My guess is that’s why it sounds like different people are speaking at once when one of them talks And not only actions, they probably have to agree on what to say too My theory (which gives the writers way too much credit) is that since Bellicus and Serena agree to allow Ben to use Alien X without needing their vote, that’s why Alien X’s voice is just Ben; he’s the only conscience making the decisions, so his voice is the only one “broadcast”, in a sense

He can do anything he thinks of that is the canon explanation. So the limitations to his powers are mental not physical like the imagination of the user and the two personalities agreeing with the user.
One of the coolest thing in the whole franchise and yet the reason it could not continue. Having Alien X powers , without limits of sort , would make even the strongest villain look like an insignificant threat.
One thing that should be noted, that celestial sapiens, are born in tandem with a new universe, so they will have multiple voices inside their heads debating based on the number of multiverses there are in that universe they hail from, this was a one-time case when they intervene because something outside the law of origination was called on, Also its more or less hinted that they will uplift, Ben as one of their own one day, so yeah some where out there Ben is celestial being,
It’d be crazy if they had continued the series and somehow the omnitrix was either stolen/destroyed, and then Ben feels helpless without it but he doesn’t know that one of his aliens is actually a part of him without the omnitrix, the most powerful one. Yk like how Gwen is part anodite, and then Ben being part celestialsapien would be interesting.
He technically can with Terraspin. However the network doesn't want Ben using Magic because it's Gwen's thing. That's also why they claimed Anodite don't have DNA to dismiss the possibility of Ben turning into one.
I like how, in most situations, having the "keys" to Alien X wpuld be an instant win. But since Ben is fighting another Celestial Sapian its a pretty even fight just on steroids.
I find it strange that Ben felt like he was in a pickle but then again the thought of having all the power limited to his imagination may have slip...So in favor of seeing the scene as reasonable has been carried
It is a statement on how people shouldnt look down on ben 10 as a franchise. Compared to any other show or fuck it, piece of any media, no one ever thought to come up with such a creative resolution. The hero that wins against god by hitting him with a strong anime punch has been done to death at this point, DC, marvel an a lot of manga have a really big problem with power levels because of this, the moment they can overcome infinite power with their own power level makes infinite power feel like a joke, so they all need to understand fights against this sort of foe needs to be mental or philosophical and not treated like a street fighter match

The writers of that show and novel really knew what they were doing because if it was made by your average DC/marvel writers those characters would just shoot lasers or punch each other till one of them does the "believe in yourself" punch or laser...typical generic comic book fights.

Cool little detail I noticed. When Ben says "Surprise", you obviously hear the echo he makes, but then when he punches the Gladiator, you can faintly hear one more "surprise" when he's stopping. This means Alien X's punch alone launched Gladiator many times faster than the speed of sound. So cool.
Nah that’s still only 0,00001% of a celestialsapien’s power. Compared to their abilities of doing literally anything outside of space and time and have no consequences or weaknesses other than being bipolar, these combat moves are nothing.

I honestly believe that the Gladiator didn't lose the fight because he was hurt(I don't think they can take damage and his hand just got altered to a different form by ben's plan and he just changed it back), knocked out, or was overpowered (in a sense) but because his body went frozen as their 3 minds couldn't come to a agreement on how to win that ben wouldn't find the counter too. If the Gladiator had as must creativity as Ben then their fight could last forever and would require ben to choose a another type of race's judgement system or send the universe back in time so he doesn't outlive his family as the fight goes on until one of them gets bored.

I love how ben singlehandly becomes the strongest being in his univsrse and one of the strongest in all fictional universes by just telling his two checks "go fight in the corner I'll do the unfun stuff"

My theory (which gives the writers way too much credit) is that since Bellicus and Serena agree to allow Ben to use Alien X without needing their vote, that’s why Alien X’s voice is just Ben; he’s the only conscience making the decisions, so his voice is the only one “broadcast”, in a sense

the wording is "prime specimen" which can be taken as just meaning a high quality specimen. And considering how easy it is for ben to convince the voices i'd say alien x fullfills that.
remember that every single celestialsapien at the forge of creation were too indecisive to do anything about the dude trying to murder one of their babies. ben does really well compared to that.

One thing that should be noted, that celestial sapiens, are born in tandem with a new universe, so they will have multiple voices inside their heads debating based on the number of multiverses there are in that universe they hail from, this was a one-time case when they intervene because something outside the law of origination was called on,
Also its more or less hinted that they will uplift, Ben as one of their own one day, so yeah some where out there Ben is celestial being,
It’d be crazy if they had continued the series and somehow the omnitrix was either stolen/destroyed, and then Ben feels helpless without it but he doesn’t know that one of his aliens is actually a part of him without the omnitrix, the most powerful one.
Yk like how Gwen is part anodite, and then Ben being part celestialsapien would be interesting.

It is a statement on how people shouldnt look down on ben 10 as a franchise. Compared to any other show or fuck it, piece of any media, no one ever thought to come up with such a creative resolution. The hero that wins against god by hitting him with a strong anime punch has been done to death at this point, DC, marvel an a lot of manga have a really big problem with power levels because of this, the moment they can overcome infinite power with their own power level makes infinite power feel like a joke, so they all need to understand fights against this sort of foe needs to be mental or philosophical and not treated like a street fighter match
@@sonoio869 I couldn't agree more. DC actually did that in 'the sandman' live action adaptation. When dream fought lucifer he used his intelligence to put lucifer in a checkmate. The writers of that show and novel really knew what they were doing because if it was made by your average DC/marvel writers those characters would just shoot lasers or punch each other till one of them does the "believe in yourself" punch or laser...typical generic comic book fights.

Cool little detail I noticed. When Ben says "Surprise", you obviously hear the echo he makes, but then when he punches the Gladiator, you can faintly hear one more "surprise" when he's stopping. This means Alien X's punch alone launched Gladiator many times faster than the speed of sound.

I honestly believe that the Gladiator didn't lose the fight because he was hurt(I don't think they can take damage and his hand just got altered to a different form by ben's plan and he just changed it back), knocked out, or was overpowered (in a sense) but because his body went frozen as their 3 minds couldn't come to a agreement on how to win that ben wouldn't find the counter too. If the Gladiator had as must creativity as Ben then their fight could last forever and would require ben to choose a another type of race's judgement system or send the universe back in time so he doesn't outlive his family as the fight goes on until one of them gets bored.
what's cool to me is apparently there is the possibility of aliens stored inside the omnitrix stronger than alien x we just never got to see them
