in my opinion, the completed one wins:
first, the ultimatrix is too easy to be hacked, meaning the hacker basically can deactivate it on demand, or make it transforms Ben into the worst alien possible for the scenario
second, im not sure about this, but the completed one seems to still give Ben the knowledge of the alien, just in a different way. cus if not, then how the heck did Ben learn to use Atomic that stupidly fast?
edit 1: the completed omnitrix is also said to give Ben the peak of ANY specie present in the watch, as it fix the DNA, while the ultimate... doesnt seem to be capable of
Plus (for your second point) the ultimatrix doesn’t, like shown in the generator rex crossover.
Also the multiple failsafe are in the complete version which are very useful functions. Sure you can go ultimate for a power bump but the missed transformation flaw, lack of security, and lack of knowledge drags down the ultimatnatrix.
Also if the ultimate version of the Alien isn’t good then it’s not all that worth it like ultimate big chill or way big they just get a colour change their powers remain the same just a bit more powerful

I'm pretty sure the "instinct" feature is actually MISSING from the Ultimatrix and present in the completed Omnitrix, not the other way around. Definitely makes a big difference in the comparison

Since all the dna is in primus there’s no reason the ultimatrix wouldn’t have the same playlist if Ben unlocked it. But I would say the functions like transforming before Ben can react on its own seems like an omnitrix only thing

The Ultimatrix CANNOT establish a link towards Primus, it is stated to ONLY be linked to the servers of the original Recalibrated Onmitrix and therefore CANNOT obtain new dna without scanning it
This is the exact reason why even despuite getting a new watch and a new ultimatrix Albedo couldn't transform into anything seen past UA
Prime Omnitrix doesn't have connection to primus, it's the perfect Omnitrix, all Dna are on the Omnitrix itself

U forget that the complete omnitrix mode had “lifeform lock” function.
This allows Ben to COMPLETELY blend in among various lifeform without timing out.
Nah it is a tweak not a function.
The complete version definitely, because the AI in it adapts to Ben and as mentioned in The Ink Tank channel, the complete version seems to know Ben better than he knows himself, even when he mistransforms, it forces Ben to adapt to the scenario.
Conclusion: There is no comparison.
Also the Completed Omnitrix has several fail safes which the Ultramatrix doesn't. I don't think Ben would've survived the Anilianarg explosion with the Ultramatrix due to it lacking those fail-safes which kept Ben alive with the Completed Omnitrix
I'm surprised you didn't mention the life form lock mode which allows ben to stay as an alien for as long as he wants.

@@geenhaaien basically in omniverse the omnitrix got a new feature which allowed Ben to stay in any alien form for as long as he wants. It was used twice, the first time during the incursion invasion when Ben was disguised as bullfrag and the second time when he turned into gravattack so he could have a peace treaty.

I think the amount of different features snd failsafes in the completed Omnitrix makes it way better. Especially for one feature the fact i can stay in lifeform lock. As one alien for as long as you want. The fact ben has so much control over the watch is a plus
I'm going with the Ultimatrix! My favorite ultimate alien is Ultimate Echo Echo! There's nothing wrong with having extra power in a battle, and it would be a nice and comfortable fit for my wrist!
I think one of the most important function of completed omnitrix is finger print because in other omnitrix anyone can transform Ben into alien but in completed omnitrix Ben has to use his fingerprint to transform himself

i would rather say that... the watch is designed specifically for Ben, and only Ben, since there's an episode where Ben turn younger, and the omnitrix doesnt recognize his DNA to function
edit: furthermore, it ASKS him to provide nearly every bit of his private info for it to recognize him, and i doubt that's the end of the protection Azmuth put in that watch

The data dump function does is not present in the ultimatrix and is in the completed omnitrix or at least it was meant to be in the complete omnitrix it got inconsistent if it was there or not after awhile
When Ben first transformed in shocksquach in the heroes united crossover he had no idea how to use his powers and had to fight it out mid fight agains alpha, in contrast when Ben first transformed into atomix despite the usual first time transformation confusion he used atomix’s abilities as if he had used him before effortlessly blasting away albedo
It's said that completed Omnitrix fixed all the previous promless. The only reason ben mis-transforms is user eror and ben just smashing the watch without looking at the watch first.

Though, because the Ultimatrix is easy to be hacked into, and can be removed easily, i say the completed Omnitrix wins.

Huh, I thought this would be more about the merits of each watch itself, not the playlist they happened to get, which seems random and not really fair.
For example, the Ultimate function, the Prototype's constant updates and evolving the watch itself, the 'don't die' failsafe of the Completed Omnitrix...
I'd say the Completed Omnitrix would be the preferable one to have (The insta-learn thing can likely be added in an update by Azmuth, or it's something Ben turned off by accident or never turned on because he doesn't read instructions).
I think, for intrigue, I prefer the original prototype, though. The way it's so tightly integrated with Ben's body, grows as a part of him, and actively defends itself and him more directly, is really interesting.
We should also remember that psychobos took some parts from the complete Omnitrix and the two Galvan's messed with it and put in their own parts which further messed it up I don't remember if it was later fixed by azimuth

The feedback of the proto Omnitrix I do think this one the completed also has it
I don't know if this counts, but in the Omniverse episode Showdown Part 2 where Ben and Kevin get thrown by Gwen from the Proto-truck, Ben tries to turn on the dial and transform into way big while kevin says something like "You haven't figured out that thing yet?"" correct me if I made a mistake in actual quotes but I think this is one indication that Ben probably still learning how to use the completed omnitrix, hence why it is stated in some sources that Ben mistransforming using the new omnitrix was user error.
The completed omnitrix doesnt give ben the wrong aliens, it gives ben the alien he needs, because ben himself said: "I should stop fighting it. It seems to know me better than..me." and if you watch omniverse carefully even though ben messes up he doesnt really suffer a bad consequence because that way the watch makes him a fast thinker and a creative person.
completed one because you are basically immortal with the fail-safe that will stop you from dying and it's not random the Omnitrix always picks the best alien for the time and it has a life-form lock
I personally prefer the ultimatric due to the hologram function it makes it look better.
Although the omnitrix from omniverse would have to take the win in this case.
The ultimatrix was called an inferior replica by Azmuth, meaning it was not only incomplete as albedo wasn't as smart as him but is also considered a knock off by both Ben and Azmuth
As for the easy removal, if it actually did come off with the press of the button like it did for albedo, Ben would have lost it to the hacker within 10 seconds because the hacker unlocked master control. So maybe it doesn't come off as easily as we think. Maybe there was a feature to remove it while it is in self-destruct mode for easy removal, a feature Albedo added to the watch.
So I say the omnitrix, but i like the Alien Force and Ultimate Alien watches the most

5:05 if you look at the generator rex cross over you would instantly realise the ultimatrix doesn’t have the instalearning fonction. I don’t know from where you got the idea that the completed Watch doesn’t have it (since in theory it has it) but even then it gives the ultimatrix way more malfunctions. So to me the official omnitrix win that round (and is betther).
Dude, remember the episode where Ben unlocked Gutrot? He had to ask future Animo to tell him what he can do! Hell, even the nickname he gave to this form!
Even in episode 1 where Ben becomes Bloxx he asks himself “who’s this guy” it might be a plot reason why but he doesn’t have it.

I personally loved the Ultimatrix due to its ability to evolve the aliens incase Ben needed that extra backbone with what he has instead of switching, kinda, tho if I did have my own Ultimatrix I would add some extra features but those i'll keep to myself.

Also I think it's better that Ben discovers the new alien power with us the viewers, it's a much better experience. it also happens in UAF, like Ben discovers Swampfire's regenaration and it took him a while to get that he has pyrokinesis

The completed omnitrix is not connected to Primus, but it has the DNA stored within itself in a computerized form and is always receiving software updates from Galvan Prime.

The completed Omnitrix is more secure than ultimatrix but ultimatrix does have more attack power because of its ultimate function and since Omnitrix and ultimatrix are connected to Primus we can conclude that Ben could have unlocked the same aliens in Omniverse if he had ultimatrix for more time
but the ultimatrix has WAY more malfunctions and issue: VERY hackable, DNA gain sentience, and a few more.
if anyone was to hack the ultimatrix, they basically have full control over it, cus the hacking is kinda easy

I think it a draw because their both different in different ways ultimate feature for the ultimatrix and for the changing to aliens omnitrix their both good in different ways.
The complete form wins as the ultimatrix is kinda buggy as in one episode ben was having a problem with the watch as it kept trying to scan enemies but they wouldn’t work and the fact that anyone could push the big rectangle button means that it’s easy to take off
The whole thing with the Ultimates getting a Will of their own was fixed by Azmuth

You forgot one transformation which future ben unlocked with the ultimatrix, where he transforms into Ultimate Ben.
In my opinion, I think the Ultimatrix was meant to be part of the completed version. And as we know from the classic series, the Ben can access different functions of the watch just by constantly messing with the dial. And the randomizer along with the alien lock already existed as far as the classic show with the prototype.
The ultamatrix and the Omnitrix has 1 deciding factor for their abilities.
The ultamatrix scanning an alien or transforming into one doesn't make one the alien the best physically capable alien on it but rather making them a genetic copy of what they scan
And about the ultamatrix having their instincts predownloaded on the ultamatrix this is false as the Collab with generator Rex and Ben 10 showed him transforming into shockssquach and not knowing what to do
The Omnitrix however (prototype or completed) turns the user into the physically capable best specimen of a race no matter how weak or if the alien had a disease or a disability the Omnitrix will still transform Ben into the winter soldier equivalent of that race
You may be thinking "well what's the good of the genetically super alien version of their race compared to the ultimate version"
The thing about both watches is that both of them has their strengths and feats,
However the ultamatrix's disadvantages outweigh the features as the ultimates became sentient, no safety feature (as when Ben and albedo accidentally got stuck together and caused a mini-psuedo to separate both of them while Ben's recalibrated Omnitrix protected him and albedo was genetically altered
Now while the ultamatrix is cool and all I personally prefer the Omnitrix due to it having less glitches and primarily being superior to albedo's off brand version
The Omnitrix can access a lot of aliens and even has more features that can help the user overcome the challenges however Ben mistransforming can be seen as either good or bad since there's a theory that the watch's artificial intelligence adapts to any situation it's in and transforms Ben into aliens so that he wouldn't be to lenient and finds a work around
While the ultamatrix has its downsides it plays as a counterpart to the Omnitrix and was used by Ben 10 whilst it does have downsides and it's bad features the main benefactor is it turns the aliens Into an ultimate alien that's primarily honed into thousands of years worth of combat simulation that can turn a civilized alien into a battle ready species, while it isn't morally decent it is still a good feature as it maximizes the efficiency of an alien as an improvement (however not better than the Omnitrix)
In conclusion I personally think Omnitrix wins due to fact that's it's more safer, turns into the most physically fit aliens, isn't prone to being hacked or hijacked (other than some times when the show directors weren't being consistent like when someone stole something from the completed Omnitrix and it transformed Ben's allies and does into aliens
Or when in AE Ben 10 and Kevin tried to hack it however it broken
And whenever there is a nother Omnitrix in another presence of an omnitrix with another universe can actually unlock some transformations the Omnitrix hasn't unlocked if it's alternative universe counterpart doesn't have it (this was prominent in the episode Ben 23 was first shown in)
Overall the Omnitrix wins.
The ultimatrix doesn’t have the instant learning function, biggest proof of this is in here united, Ben transformed into Shocksquatch and didn’t know what the alien did hence the quote “I have no idea what this alien does”. U also forgot to mention the failsafe which literally protected Ben from the big bang

In my opinion ultimatrix has only one point for ultimate funcion becose complited omnitrix just better it has working failsafes and yes it don't have ultimates but that's not a problem and complited omnitrix has safed Ben from explosion made by creation of new universe and Ben can't be killed becose omnitrix will safe him witch 100% success rate.
The thing is azmuth can fix the ultimate function and add it whenever he wants. But pride and azmuth not seeing the point in the feature anymore because of albedo

utility wise, new omnitrix has tons of benefits than ultimatrix and proto omnitrix, but I still love 1.0 ultimatrix tho. So if you ask me what other benefits ultimatrix have, I'll say at least 3
1. design is the most coolest for me, it's a wrist band, I kinda love that. And that design can block bullets also waterproof.
2. cool and busted ultimate forms, even tho Ben and Albedo didn't quite use them properly.
3. Azmuth can use it as a camera to monitor Ben's team activities in need.
While the actual validity of this claim is questionable, it was claimed by ORAsh from The Ink Tank that the Ultimatrix scans a genetic copy of its samples whereas all other omnitrix variants created the genetic primes of its samples' species. The evidence for this was that the Ultimatrix transformations were visual identical to their samples, but this might just be an artistic choice.
My vote actually goes to the official omnitrix because it has something that no prior model had: Nanomachine protection. After Malware was able to mess with the prototype omnitrix, Asmath incorporated a series of "firewalls" that prevent nanomachine entities such as upgrade, buzzshock, and nanomech from entering and affecting the watch. Logically, this would extend to Inspector 13's machinery too. Due to this security upgrade, the official Omnitrix has my vote.
I like them both, but that’s just me💁🏻♂.

5:20 I think it's a plot problem and not a feature of the omnitrix I recall that in the classic series when the cannonbolt debuted, Ben didn't know how to use it. Not even close. The ultimatrix is a FLAWED version/cheap copy of the recalibrated PROTOTYPE omnitrix. As said the in the name the COMPLETED omnitrix is the perfected version of the protype, therefore the ultimatrix, despite having the ability to “go ultimate” is leagues below the completed omnitrix in terms of design, hardware, and power.

Completed Omnitrix easily wins cause not only is Ultimatrix easily hackable but it also doesn't have Master Control as well since in Inspector 13 episode 13 unlocks Master Control which began to turn Gwen and Kevin into Aliens. Also completed Omnitrix does have alien instinct thing which is why ben knew how to use atomix and whampire so quickly.

Ben 10 reboot is kinda like the ultimatrix cause I seen him turn into amoured versions of his aliens and electric but he must achieve hard things I don’t how he got it
