I think it was the American Dr.Who. Shame they ended the show the way they did. I don't want an awful slick and shallow remake that has nothing to do with the spirit and soul of the original.
He said it back when he found out they wanted him to be on the show. He woke up, still getting his bearings, gets a phone call, hears what's up, it all finally sinks in... "Oh, boy..."
Wow! Scott Bakula has never been in a show that went 100 episodes? That's crazy. I've never heard of NCIS New Orleans, but that is well deserved. He's a TV icon!
Stephen Colbert ain't exactly pain for the ol' eyeballs. . . and when Bakula and Harmon shared two episodes of NCIS as the lead-in for "NCIS -- NO," I had to double down on my b.p. meds.
Dolby109 I loved enterprise, but Voyager was my favourite. Capt Janeway was the best captain compared to all the other captains., especially in terms or how she managed her ship and crew, being tough as nails when required, and very wise. Probably because of her situation (being in the 4th quadrant).
I love Bakula, as Quantum Leap was a HUGE part of my childhood. No doubt he meant nothing malicious with that that sex/male/female line, but boy did he get flustered by the lack of response, and Stephen just let him hang there to marinate in his own flop sweat. 🤣
There's no way in hell he's 64 ... I was in love with him when I was a teenager. But ... wait ... does that mean I'm .... old???? Nah, that can't be right, I still haven't figured out what I wanna be when I grow up.
I wasn’t born until end of the 90s so I never saw it my dad showed me a rerun a couple months ago and now I’m obsessed. We watch an episode every night
Kinda hard on the old venous system, seeing Bakula and Colbert on the same screen. . . reminds me of those two introductory episodes for "NCIS--NO," with Bakula and Harmon sharing the screen. Had to double down on my b.p. meds. Yes, it is possible to have "impure thoughts" even after 70. . .
lisa koola - Once you get to 50 then you start hearing people say "Halfway there" and "Yay, you made it this far and you're still alive", so I can only imagine what it'll be like for Scott at 64. 😀
If your assistant was able to schedule you at the DMV in Oxnard, you could have been scheduled at any DMV location. Sometimes you have to wait even with an appointment. I got my "reelID" after waiting several hours--even with an appointment.
I swear.. For years, I never knew Scott Bakula existed.. I think I always just thought he was Ted Danson or Tony Danza.. Which is funny, because if those two could make a baby it would probably look like Bakula.
"What's the legal limit for blood-alcohol in your system before you're considered 'drunk?' Is it: A) 0.08% B) 0.05% C) 0.01% "Oh, gosh. Surely, it can't be more than 0.01%, so I'm gonna say 'C.'" "Oh, wow. Well, it's actually 0.08%, but if you plan to limit yourself to dramatically less than that, _that's good enough!_ We'll give you that one."
i didn't even know Scott was in NCIS ? mind you i don't watch TV, Im from New Zealand so I'm not even sure if the Sky or whatever tv networks run it? I have no clue. Happy though he's doing well and LOOKS GREAT!
The sad thing about Enterprise was that it got cancelled just as it was becoming really good (Except for that final episode, boy was that one a bad one) I really was looking forward to more section 31, more of the founding of the federation. Heck, just imagine if they had actually made it to the Earth-Romulan war.
“Sam, Ziggy says there’s a 68% chance you are here to boost Colbert’s ratings…” “… and a 98% chance you’re here to promote the most recent season of NCIS: New Orleans.”
.08 has been the blood alcohol limit for decades, I thought that was common knowledge. Are there states where it's .01? That's like half a sip of beer.
Quantum Leap was one of the coolest tv shows of the 80s.
Rose S. Damn Right!
totally.. although most of it was in the 90s!
@CJ At a certain age, the 80s or 90s, it's all a blurr. ;)
So does Gooshie.
I liked it too, but I guess it didn't reach 100.
He's always gonna be Jonathan Archer for me.
No ...Sam bekett
No to me Stephen j bartowski aka orion
No Sam leapt into archer
Sam Beckett to me
Archer all the way
Quantum Leap should have made it way over 100. LOVED that show.
bug_mine me too. Loved it!!!
bug_mine Me too! My favorite show growing up.
An entire series based on one episode of Star Trek TOS. Gotta be good.
I think it was the American Dr.Who. Shame they ended the show the way they did. I don't want an awful slick and shallow remake that has nothing to do with the spirit and soul of the original.
#bringsamhome
Love Scott as an actor, he had such a great energy for 64, hope he's still got that :)
They should have never canceled Enterprise. Was a great series.
SmokeStack It was cancelled because of the recession, but I was incredibly disappointed as well.
It was def the sexiest Trek. Jolene Blalock in that scene where they had to decontaminate, wowza!
Ivone de Figueiredo it was cancelled in 2005?
It all started when a time travel experiment I was conducting went... a little CaCa. I miss Sam and Al
I fully expected the interview to start with "....Oh boy."
He said it back when he found out they wanted him to be on the show. He woke up, still getting his bearings, gets a phone call, hears what's up, it all finally sinks in... "Oh, boy..."
😂😂😂

@@BeeWhistler did he really say that in an interview with stephen?
Him and Dean Stockwell in 'Quantum Leap' Superb 💯
Loved Quantum Leap.... Loved ST: Enterprise... and I'm loving NCIS: New Orleans.
I'm still pissed at CBS's Les Moonves over cancelling Enterprise JUST when it was getting it's show legs. I still watch it fairly often.
I would absolutely LOVE to meet scott bakula
64?!?!?? SIXTY-FOUR!!! I hope I look half as good when I'm 64!! Incredible.
Wow! Scott Bakula has never been in a show that went 100 episodes? That's crazy. I've never heard of NCIS New Orleans, but that is well deserved. He's a TV icon!
Oh be still my racing heart.... scott bakula = YUM
Stephen Colbert ain't exactly pain for the ol' eyeballs. . . and when Bakula and Harmon shared two episodes of NCIS as the lead-in for "NCIS -- NO," I had to double down on my b.p. meds.
sonyahannah Oh boy, I know that feeling. Two hotties.
I still would do him myself, yes. Lol
Man I just finished watching Star Trek Enterprise for the second time. Still my favorite Start Trek series. Bakula was great!
Dolby109 I loved enterprise, but Voyager was my favourite. Capt Janeway was the best captain compared to all the other captains., especially in terms or how she managed her ship and crew, being tough as nails when required, and very wise. Probably because of her situation (being in the 4th quadrant).

He'll always be Captain Archer to me! Oh boy...
R O Doctor Sam Beckett of Project Quantum Leap.
And he'll always be Agent Orion to me (Chuck reference) 😂
Love Scott Bakula! He looks great!
Ohhh I loved him in quantum leap..very enjoyable
love this guy!!! ty Scott Bakula for being my eye candy all these years. 11-16-20
He does not look 64.
Angel McLeod I know! I thought he was at least 10 years younger.
Time-travelling keeps one young.
T Electronix as does cleaning up shit at an old people’s home.
He absolutely looks 64 - just not a boozing smoking overweight 64.
Angel McLeod
Smokin hot
I like him. LOVED HIM in "Quantum Leap." One of the genuine nice guys.
The DMV worker must have been a Xindi.
Or the trans-dimensional beings that aided the Xindi
A VERY underrated actor
This makes me want to start a Quantum Leap marathon tonight. One of the best shows and he's one of the coolest guys. Happy belated Birthday!
There's no way in hell he's 64 ... I was in love with him when I was a teenager. But ... wait ... does that mean I'm .... old???? Nah, that can't be right, I still haven't figured out what I wanna be when I grow up.
Quantum Leap was wonderful show and still fun to watch today!
It really is. I have all the DVDs and I just love the ethos of it "to change history for the better". So good.
I wasn’t born until end of the 90s so I never saw it my dad showed me a rerun a couple months ago and now I’m obsessed. We watch an episode every night
QUANTUM LEAP FOR EVER !!! BEST ENDING EVER !!!
...and MacGyver? ;)
God is a bartender and Sam keeps on leaping, forever, and never finds that final leakp that gets him home. That ending was terrible.
Al married Beth ❤
And...
"Dr. Samuel Becket never returned home "😪

I have had a crush on this man for decades.
Good LORD!! Scott Bakula looks AMAZINGLY HANDSOME STILL!! Crikey. Quantum Leap was the coolest.
*Harrison Ford's skiny and talkative version.*
Kindness is Beauty and better looking
@@laurinepiper6612 really ? Better looking.. naw... they both are handsome in their on way..
He really is skinny, though. I've not seen him in a long time and I was a bit surprised
Also capable of more than two expressions.
Kindness is Beauty oh my god!!! That’s who he reminds me of lol
Ziggy got him those 16
Yes, because if he got 18, it would alter history and Sam Beckett wouldn't be able to Quantum Leap to get out of Scott Bakula's body.
I didn’t even know there was an NCIS New Orleans LOL.
You are in for many hours of delight as you watch the re-runs.
I approve this series. Scott does not dissapoint.
Me neither!
Stephen doesn’t really help guests out when their stories aren’t working. He leaves them hanging,
. I like that ha
I loved Star Trek Enterprise as a kid!!! Anyone else introduced to the franchise because of that series?
I started with The Next Generation, but Enterprise became my favorite series. It is a shame it was cancelled after 4 seasons!
I grew up watching TNG and DS9 on weekend mornings, but Enterprise made me an actual fan of the franchise.
I'm getting old.
He was great in that show!
I watched Tng Ds9 and Voyager but Enterprise was the first one that was new to me.
Kinda hard on the old venous system, seeing Bakula and Colbert on the same screen. . . reminds me of those two introductory episodes for "NCIS--NO," with Bakula and Harmon sharing the screen. Had to double down on my b.p. meds. Yes, it is possible to have "impure thoughts" even after 70. . .
You kidding? Harmon looks like Ellen with that haircut.
64 years that’s amazing 😂😂😂
lisa koola - Once you get to 50 then you start hearing people say "Halfway there" and "Yay, you made it this far and you're still alive", so I can only imagine what it'll be like for Scott at 64. 😀
He does look good for 64 but it isn’t as if he worked down a mine for 40 years.
Oh boy....
Ziggy approved
It’s been a long road, getting from there to here.
I love Scott Bakula! I love Enterprise!
Gosh! Scott is looking incredibly handsome; far more attractive than under 40 even.
Still as handsome as his Quantum Leap days
Nice to see him age well.
If your assistant was able to schedule you at the DMV in Oxnard, you could have been scheduled at any DMV location. Sometimes you have to wait even with an appointment. I got my "reelID" after waiting several hours--even with an appointment.
Scott bakula could play jeffrey epstein in the movie Quantum Leap The Movie
I swear.. For years, I never knew Scott Bakula existed.. I think I always just thought he was Ted Danson or Tony Danza.. Which is funny, because if those two could make a baby it would probably look like Bakula.
64? Oh Boy!
What a great guy. I loved QL, I loved Enterprise and I’m loving NCIS: NOLA
Quarterback Paul Blake. Fightin' Armadillos!
Love that movie
"What's the legal limit for blood-alcohol in your system before you're considered 'drunk?'
Is it:
A) 0.08%
B) 0.05%
C) 0.01%
"Oh, gosh. Surely, it can't be more than 0.01%, so I'm gonna say 'C.'"
"Oh, wow. Well, it's actually 0.08%, but if you plan to limit yourself to dramatically less than that, _that's good enough!_ We'll give you that one."
Thing is, you can still get arrested under that limit. Really C is correct just not technically "drunk". It's dumb.
ZIGGY... bleep bleep bleep... ZIGGY SAYS....
Al whacks the handset and chomps his cigar. . .
Then makes a completely inappropriate comment about the woman Sam is with.
(exhale sigh) OH, BOY!!! ;)
Luvvvvvvvv Quantum Leap. Like my fav. Sho ever! Scott Bakula too. Keep on rocking dude. Anywho y'all b good. God Bless you
Captain Archer
He will always be quantum leap!
Absolutely love NCIS New Orleans
One of my fav Beatles songs.

Did ziggy ever give him his leap out of sunny in Philadelphia?
The most inspirational lines from Capt Jonathan Archer's (Scott Bakula) Star Trek Enterprise - @F3OM
@F3OM
Scott after he was told his hair is gray.. 'Oh boy..'
He looks good for it!
I'm 20 years younger than he is. How come he looks the same age as he did in the 90s and I look like Father Time?
quantum leap is the best show ever
Quantum Leap...97, seriously!
Star trek's captain 🔭🎆🔭🎆🔭🎆🔭🎆
I'm afraid that Scott Bakula will always mean Quantum Leap to me. But I really loved Enterprise as well.
Quantum Leap was the first show that sold me as a fan of Scott Bakula.
Wait. I'm not a US citizen, I don't drink, and I _know_ the answer is .08.
(THANK YOU MYTHBUSTER)
He will always and forever be Captain Jonathan Archer to me.
Dr. Beckett, still lookin' good
What's with the idiotic downvotes?
Oh boy!
Here’s a game: count how long it is until someone makes a QL reference.
You absolutely can and should make appointments at the CA DMV. I’ve never waited in lines there. Speaking from a SD perspective.
"I was in LA"
"You live there?"
Way to keep up with the notes of your guests Steve.
The sad thing about Enterprise was that it got cancelled just as it was becoming really good (Except for that final episode, boy was that one a bad one) I really was looking forward to more section 31, more of the founding of the federation. Heck, just imagine if they had actually made it to the Earth-Romulan war.
It's been a long road, getting from there to here...
Now I can't get the _Quantum Leap_ theme out of my head.
The best
(exhale sigh) OH, BOY!!! ;)
Driving an hour and a half or waiting an hour and a half at a So Cal DMV. Good call. Good call.
Bakula time!
“Sam, Ziggy says there’s a 68% chance you are here to boost Colbert’s ratings…” “… and a 98% chance you’re here to promote the most recent season of NCIS: New Orleans.”
NCIS??? I've never watched the show. I remember him well from Quantum Leap!
Best TV show ever: Carnivale!
(He's not in it.)
did he say he drove to Axenar?
Oxnard, it's a city about an hour north of Los Angeles
It's a Star Trek joke.
Eneterprise died for me the day they killed Trip.
...not because Trip died, but because the finale was awful in general.
He's always Captain Archer to me :)
Diggin' that suit of his...
Sexy 64... :)
CA DMV. Whole day ordeal. 😈. Lol
Hey,October 9th is my birthday too,and I used to work at the DMV..true story, anyway Happy Birthday Scott.
Scott Bakula, please please please attend DragonCon!!!
Don't steal my leap Blackulah!
He should have gone to the dmv in Santa Paula instead of Oxnard... generally not as busy and it's quicker.
He's still a hottie!
I prefer "Count Bakula" instead.
.08 has been the blood alcohol limit for decades, I thought that was common knowledge. Are there states where it's .01? That's like half a sip of beer.
“Saaaaaaam!!”
I didn't know he was on another show. How many NCIS shows are there, even?
Three. The main one and Los Angeles being the others.
Holy crap, October 9th is also my dad's birthday AND my parent's anniversary!
What are the odds?
I mean, besides 1 in 365.
Make NCIS cast guest next!
Gibbs would be great!
