That make sense thank you ,I hit a Deere and airbag never got displayed, but maybe that sensor is bad I’m going to change it ,because almost everyday the airbag light goes on and I don’t know why ,and it’s annoying

Excellent work Peter! I liked that you used big hammer when you needed a little bit hammering! :-)

Do you need to disconnect the battery first?
After installing new sensor do you need programming or disabling the light on the dash?

Hello! Thank you for the video. Is it necessary to replace this sensor after accident? Or just replace airbag and reset srs module? Thank you!

Is it possible that you have debris in the connection plug? Clean it out and pack it with dielectric grease. Could it be that the sensor is perfectly fine it just doesn’t have a good connection?

Thank you for this video. I recently bought a BlueDriver OBDII scan tool (bluetooth), and found out that My 2011 Honda CRV actually has an code of 41-11 "No Signal From Driver Front Impact Sensor". Does this mean that if I got into a car accident, the driver side airbag will NOT deploy? If so, should I get this repaired ASAP? Do you know what's the part# for 2011 CRV airbag sensor? Why would the sensor fail prematurely? I think I did a driver side airbag recall repair two years ago. Could it be that the mechanic at the dealership didn't install the new airbag correctly which caused this issue? Any thoughts about this? Thanks!

Best bet is to ask for that specific part from your honda dealer and see if you could put it in yourself instead of them charging you to put it in. Hope this helps I would fix that asap

If you want to inspect the sensor, not full access, can you just remove the headlight?
