Most guitarists play it around 120 or so, some a little faster. I also chose to do the staccato basses or at least detached basses as it is indicated in the piano score and not legato. So I hope you will enjoy this slightly different version of our favorite piece.

I did notice the piano speed. Faster than Yepes or Romero perform it. You have a superb right hand. No 'galloping' in the tremolo. Lovely to listen to. Thank you.

This is the very best performance that I ever seen on this piece, we shouldn’t forget it’s a transcription from the piano, the advantage is that this piece was done on the flamenco 💃 and the guitar is the principal instrument, this is one of the most favourite pieces for the Spanish guitar repertoire, but this is the most challenging piece for us, thanks Gohar I have enjoyed listening to you

I've heard this piece many times before played by many technically excellent guitarists and most people will no doubt love those renditions but for me they feel sterile and leave me cold. To me this lady's version is simply astonishing. Where others fall into the trap of the pursuit of technical accuracy, sadly they neglect the heart and soul of a piece which requires more than just manual dexterity or proficiency. It requires a sophisticated intellect to interpret and translate those notes into something more, something which lives and breathes and renders the piece musical. I believe this lady plays not just with her mind but also with her heart and soul, understanding the nuance and significance of how each and every note is being played and what it needs to express, she is able to give the piece life and breath, the pathos is positively palpable. An amazingly talented individual.

Inspired me to do Ling Ling 40 hour/day practice :) One "small" thing i noticed (apart from different hand positions according to my score, and of course, the great speed yet still articulated ) is that you start the alternative playing with the middle finger instead of the index. That clearly prepares the hand for rest of the movement. Thank you for sharing this. Godbless.
Thank you! Regarding the index or middle finger, you can use which is more comfortable, I prefer the M, but i can work as well. I just don’t like alternating between i and m (as some editions have) because it changes the balance and sound of a note that’s secondary to the bass, using the same fingers allows you to control the sound with less effort.
