Excellent video, just how I do it with the exception of the power tools. I do it all with hand tools so not to strip any threads. It looks like you do this professionally though. CR2450 battery for remote for anyone interested. Really appreciate the video! Liked and subscribed. Thanks

Thanks! Yeah I make a living from this and I completely understand your approach as well. You prioritize precision to eliminate any error and most of us in the field do as well but we use our power tools on the daily and build a muscle memory with those power tools similar to using hand tools. I've even done some tests with my power tools to get an idea of what they can and can't do. But I do appreciate your feedback and info. Glad to have you on board 🫡

I took a look under my 2018 , 230 xdrive and found a big nut for hex key , under a plastic cover, size 12 or above. The textile material doesn't have that window cut .Could be transmission oil release or its the motor oil nut?

Transmission drain/fill plugs are usually 8mm. And if you have a plastic oil pan you usually have a drain plug for your engine oil and it can only be a 10mm but I believe your oil pan is steel. The only thing I could think of would be the differential which would either have an 8mm or a 14mm hex drain plug. Other than that I would have to see it to kinda get a better idea of what it could be.

Have you replaced your transmission or diff fluid yet? Do you know many miles you would get them done at?

I’m not really sure about how often you should have your transmission/differential fluid done since it all depends on your driving habits. If you haven’t done those services after the car hits 100k miles then I would probably just leave it alone. In any case I would recommend you get your closest dealer/shop to give you their opinion on when it would be best considering all the details of your car.

Could you provide the links to the engine and cabin air filters used? It seems like they were OEM

They are OEM. Wouldn't trust aftermarket oil filters tbh. I would stop by a BMW dealership to get the parts needed for your car. Let me know if you need more info
