- This isn't just a visual showcase but a story-driven journey where you can experience the Gundam universe across different dimensions, mechs, and timelines!
As a 3D artist, I never gave up on my Gundam fantasies despite my busy work life. Together with an animation director and a musician who shared the same dream, we spent several months in our spare time creating this short film, "Mobile Suit Gundam: Parallel Universe - Prologue."

@@brianwalsh1339 Gelgoog is more suited for more experienced pilots, due to the boost in performance it has over the Zaku II. Rookie pilots would have trouble handling the controls

I am a 57 year old man. I just built two gunplas. I simply love these mobile suits. My favorite is the Rx 93. But this short does justice to the gundam lore. I am absolutely mesmerized by this clip. May Disney never touch this franchise.

In a universe where a bunch of Celestial Beings able to wipe out a whole platoon on each of their own with super in-human gundam power is a true nightmare to the original gundam universe
Once I knew what alternative universe the Zaku II landed in, I immediately understood that it never stood a chance lol

Possible continuation: celestial being finds a way to the UC timeline and assists the Federation in ridding them of the Zeeks once and for all. However, they have sent armys to other time lines. They would be joined by other Gundams from AC, FC, WFM, DC, though the CE representative would be Shin instead of Kria because he would die during the initial Zeon attacks. Any Build entrys into the settings would be first dragged into it from their respective world through some method to give the gunpla the abilities of a normal mobile suit.
Could be possible as GN particles can literally warp and open up portal.
Iirc in Gundam Next Future promotional art. Is Setsuna going into different multiverse giving the desert flowers to the protag in those universe.

This quality is too good for a fan made work if I didn't see the title I would believe this was a trailer for an actual movie.
1:40 getting chills here! Brought me back to the show! The movements are so smooth and you just feel the weight of them and the mobile suits!
The way Exia deployed the sword was solid and flew at the Zaku with a speed that felt right in combact and in visual! This is awesome! (The end was also beautiful to watch!)
They had to put this out before Requiem lest it would get overshadowed! Great work on this and I hope to see more!

Fanboying aside, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The mecha animation looks far better than the upcoming netflix production! I like how you used the proportions from the PG Exia kit.

eh I think a flag might be on par if not a little better then stock command type as it seems this Zaku 2 was Exia was Over Kill.

Flags have superior mobility and active defensive capabilities. Its primary weapon also outclasses normal Zaku loadouts, as it's straight up a railgun.
This is just the regular Union Flag, not Over Flags.
Zaku II's are far better in their versatility though, I'll give you that.

@@brianwalsh1339 well I didn't mean CB not being justified in sortieing the Exia, but I mean as an overall matchup from the 00 Universe against a Zaku II.
What I like about 00 is there is no zakus, because their enemy is actually the earth itself

@@yokai1235 They're Chonky Zakus. And they stand out from the Flag and Enact, whose design was just a fancier version of it as Billy Katagiri stated in Episode 1 of Gundam 00.

And in SEED(especially DESTINY), there were so many U.C imitations. Zaku Warrior, Gouf Ignited….I always thought 00’s mass production models like Flag, Tieren, GN-X series, Brave more creative.

Just like the Zaku is from a slightly different UC timeline where Zeon won, I think we're seeing _Ptolemaios_ and Exia from a slightly different timeline. Notice the slightly different colours, and how much less of the crew we see.

If there's any criticism needed, I think it's the GN particles. It supposed to be coming out from the GN drive instead of concentrated into it

@@Nivlecs i think no, in the first episode of gundam 00 it's just straight up dropping from the sky withouth shielding itself while entering earth's atmosphere. GN Tech is just different from the rest.

Seeing my entry into the Gundam series destroy the foot soldier of the OG Gundam series in such a beautiful animation is not something I thought I’d see today, but am I glad I did! That Zaku stood no chance against Exia!

Seeing a zaku rip a gundams head off at the start, absolutely peak. Seig Zeon.
Okay so, this is amazing animation. Like, fantastic. I've got some feedback on the content itself tho. 1) when the exia pilot is moving to get in the gundam, it looks like they're swimming. In zero g there isn't anything to swim through really. 2) since the researcher is wearing a normal suit or other space suit, it can be assumed that the planet they are on doesn't have an atmosphere. Since there is not atmosphere, the exia shouldn't be on fire on reentry. No atmosphere = no friction= no heat. It does look bad ass tho. 3) the primary purpose of the GN blade on exia was that it was a kinetic weapon to deal with MS that had shielding against beam type weapons. It isn't a giant heat hawk.
Anywho, looked great. Excited to see more
It's Mars. The planet the video takes place on is clearly meant to be Mars and it does have an atmosphere just not one that a human can survive in without a space suit. I do agree that Stetsuna entering Exia looks too much like he's swimming through water towards it though.
Exia vs Grunt in Zaku II went about how I expected it would even funnier when he said close combat works in his favor. Now we just need a reverse Ramba Ral. This is no Gundam boy no Gundam lol.
Almost felt bad for the Zaku. Jokes aside, HOT DAMN this is some high quality animation! Those suits look INSANE!
Durability of the exia didn't require it to even use it's shield. If we were to scale it to the flag that exia flexed on in ep1 season 1
This is what Gundam Movies should look like in the future. It would be a shame if real production cannot beat this benchmark.

This is AMAZING. The animation looks and feels heavy, the models are phenomenal! The music was fitting and bombastic where it needed to be.
I do have to warn you though, if you're going to be making this into a series, please PLEASE get some voice actors involved. The AI voices stand out, and people will absolutely give you grief over it.
But for real, this feels straight out of a AAA studio. Like a Super Robot Wars cutscene or something!

Very curiois what the narrative is going for here. The Zeon didn’t seem to understand he travelled to another timeline, but the premise is Zeon travels to other timelines? I’d love to see more to maybe clarify this a bit.

Probably assumed Celestial Being was part of the Earth Federation. It’s likely that Zeon doesn’t do investigations into other universes. Just heads to them with desire to conquer
@@saberconvoyaviation8674 maybe so, but that’s asking the viewer to believe that the faction with the tech to make giant mechs, space battleships, anti-fleet weapons, maintain floating colonies in the vacume of space, etc. aren’t smart enough to do recon when dimensionhopping. It makes it very hard to believe and also kills the potential for proper conflict if there was to be more animation based on this as each episode will just be a Zaku blindhopping into an AU, yelling about the feds and dying
@@Herr_Gamermaybe the Zaku was a recon unit. I would assume that Zeon would send a huge squad or two of mobile suit and ships if they are actually attacking right away.
I like how restrained the animation feels in comparison to other Gundam animations that tend to have them move crazy with flips and twirls.

_Very_ nice work, from animation to voice work, and incorporation of music and slightly different story beats. I do hope to see more. It's kind of funny now that _Beyond_ was only a series of images. Games, too, don't go as far as they could story-wise, just enough to allow crossovers. But with some effort like this, they could work really well.
