I still haven't had a run where a TC-280 spawned when I was playing captain but as SOON as I change character in a different run it spawns in the FIRST RALLYPOINT DELTA
"It's not very difficult" I've yet to see a single one of these drones in any playthrough I've done on any character, even through many loops. And yes, I know they only spawn on Rally Point Delta. Still stands. It's really frustrating how this challenge is purely dependent on RNG.
I watched this Video and told my pal about the drone ability unlock. Sure enough our first run we got rally point delta, and in the middle of that- not one, not two, but three(!) Of those drones. It is beyond me how I am always so lucky when it comes to games RNG.
Very RNG based. I got it the first time I played captain, but I have rarely seen the ship spawn since. I think the spawn rate increases the later in the run it is (so if you were on the second loop). Probably should have said straight-forward and not easy.

Do you think the TC-280's spawn chance increases the longer a run goes? I've done numerous runs on drizzle to rush to rallypoint delta to not have one spawn.
I just got the Prototype spawn in Rallypoint in 3th stage when I was even under 10 mins so It's completely random if it will spawn here or not I guess.
Since captain is so new, there’s really not much online about it. And especially not about the drone/unlock part. Some more content on how this works and what to expect would be great!

I am having a very difficult time unlocking the captain, but that’s mainly because I have to wait 3 months for him to come to consoles.

Take a blue portal on stage 2 and use lunar coins to guarantee you get rally point and make sure u a have sacrifice on

I've spent the last 6 hours trying... I'm still waiting. Every run previous had it so I ever even realised that it was a rare spawn
I try to get the tc-280 and it’s not there
I do it as loader. AND I SPAWN DIRECTLY ONTOP OF IT

Ive literally played captain for hours on end and havent found the damn droid. In 30h of gameplay ive found it once.
it's always when you are playing the other survivors that the drone spawns smh

You say the hacking beacon is easy to get but I’ve spent a solid 11 runs and haven’t got the ship to spawn...

After probably 10-15 runs we found it maybe 2-3 times. One time had 2 of the drones there ironically.

I believe so. Although, it might have to do with the difficulty scaling more than how many times you have looped
@@rndThursday Wanted to let you know i finally found one. I'd say it took about 10 attempts to get one on the first loop on drizzle.

and dont forget about the two extra truly random maps unless you go to bazaar and "dream" of them, which is still rng as well
wait wtf? is it a console glitch that i started with everything (for captain. except for the nuke thing) as soon i unlocked him?
How often does the drone spawn? Has anyone found it on the first loop? Sucks to play 90 minutes and still not find it on the 3rd loop.
Not often is all I gotta say. I tried 5 games of double loop and couldn't find it
