PLEASE include Nice to meet you by PinkPantheress in here it's still hilarious how she talks about how she loves someone like a waterfall while Central Cee raps about how he cheated on his girl 9 times
"I Don't Mind" by Usher feat. Juicy J should've been included I feel. The song is about how Usher doesn't judge his girlfriend for being a stripper as long as she's making money and staying loyal to him. Juicy J's verse is entirely sexualizing a girl's job choice as being a stripper and trying to take somebody's girl.
@@skywalker2759 It's not a bad verse, the flow real smooth. But Justin is all romantic meanwhile TI says "Baby, it's obvious that I ain't yo guy I ain't gon' lie, I'll fill your space And forget your face, I swear I will". Definitely not the "This ring here represents my heart" the the rest of the song is going for.
Everytime i see one of these vids i think of Far Away - Yebba (feat. ASAP Rocky) the first line always kills me bro 😭 especially after yebbas beautiful singing
I was literally thinking of how Lee Harvey on N.E.R.D's "Lapdance" fits this earlier today. Pharrell's rapping about how the government and politicians are just like strippers, only pretending to care about you, while Lee Harvey's rapping about "when you think of harvey you think of a harley"
4:37 see also: scared of the dark from the spider-verse soundtrack. verse meant for another songs but were slapped on due to have his name (the second half is on topic). (his verses weren't even in the movie)
One of my favourite "lovey" trap songs. The melodies and vocals on top of that psychedelic instrumental with the amazing hard-hitting drums, what a production.
probably Young Nudy on the Little Foot Big Foot remix, purely bc it sounds like he didnt wanna rap on the og beat and do a completely new one. i love Nudy but wtf
Definitely made me remember 50 Cent on "Office Hours". While Nas' theme is pretty loose, talking about his more lavish and business orientated life in his later years, 50 comes in with somr half bars about violence then just adlibs some random conversation and ruins such an incredible beat with Nas giving such a perfect and energtic flow. Would've been such an incredible track off Magic 2 if 50 didn't ruin it
My Love by Justin Timberlake featuring T.I. has to be my favorite off-topic feature verse. The whole song is about Justin dedicating himself to a girl and professing his love to her, then T.I. comes in and says “Forget your face? I swear I will!”
I have to assume there are a LOT of rap remixes or features that do what Lil Mama did on the "Girlfriend" remix. I can almost guarantee there's at least one more pop song with a remix verse from some flippity-dippity-skippity-spiritual-lyrical-miracle-individual rapper on it. Speaking of which, you're surely gonna do another "Pointless Rap Song Remixes" video at some point, and if it doesn't include that god-awful Adam Calhoun remix of "Shook Ones", I'M PULLIN' UP 🔫🔥
If there’s a part 3 on this subject, can you talk about T.I.’s verse on My Love by Justin Timberlake? Justin’s talking about how much his partner means to him, and then T.I. comes in trying to steal someone else’s partner and saying that he won’t be upset if she doesn’t come with him on vacation and would easily forget her face. It’s like it goes against the rest of the song.
“Save that money” goes against everything hip hop stands for lol, I just know Fetty Wap had to take a shower after doing that feature It’s akin to a country song called “fuck america lmaooo”
I’m probably alone on this one, but I thought Lil Pump had a hidden message in that song because at the end he says “I guess I’m going to miss you though”,I think this means he’s bragging about his life and money and all of these things to try to hide from the fact that he misses this woman, And it fits with the song well because it shows he loves that woman so much that him coping with his fancy lifestyle isn’t working.
It needs to be said that I was not listening to Avril Lavigne until this remix of her song came out and it made me feel something. went back and listened to the original song. I do love the original song but there is nothing like that remix and nothing has come out like that since
Thank you Compact Disc Television A weird one is So Dope (They Wanna) by Tech N9ne The song features Tech, Wrekonize and Twisted Insane talking about how they're so dope that all the women want to have sex with them and how good they are at sex. Then the final verse is Snow Tha Product, a female rapper who then kinda flips the whole song on it's head. Her verse is about how she's so good at rap that all the men want to have sex with her and she feels objectified and is scared of being assaulted. Really changes the whole vibe, especially since the chorus mentions a list of drugs before saying the girls want to have sex then Snow specifically mentions someone attempting to get her drunk to pressure her.
I disagree on the Lil Mama one. You could easily argue her bragging for 2 verses is her showing the other girl's boyfriend why she's better. You could say it's a lazy way to do it with just linking it with one line, but she still technically linked it.
King Von- Out the Streets (remix) Von was talking about struggling and changing his life, then Moneybagg Yo came in talking about money and cars. It went from good to 🗑️
Copying my comment from the previous video because it's just such a funny example of this Not sure if this fits since the feature verse is the first one on the song. But on the CZARFACE track Gatecrasher the first verse is Logic going on another weird rant with an alter ego called Doctor Destruction where Doc D is just roasting Logic (Aka himself) and even at one point he calls him(self) the "half-black 1-800 guy." The whole verse is just them going back and fourth and it ends with Logic saying he feels schizophrenic and how he's addicted to drugs. Then Esoteric spends his verse rapping about how weird the first verse was and then Deck finishes the song with a pretty basic rap verse and doesn't mention the whole logic rant. It would've fit CZARFACE's whole comic book thing if Logic's alter ego was a villain that CZARFACE has to defeat and the whole song was the battle between them but instead Logic uses this alter ego to diss himself and hijacks the song.
I can tell Linda’s section most of y’all don’t understand how features and rap music works even though most of these songs are just purely rap, but hear me out features when they include a rap artist, especially especially especially a rap artist that is bigger than the artist that is putting out the song to say what they want this is no nobody cares about subject from a feature if the feature is better than the person who released the song then about the subject matter?

Lil Wayne might have paid no mind to the topic of the song, but he came through with the best verse in the song imo
Yeah I think the same lmao
Yup. Never would come back to that song if it weren’t for Weezy’s verse tbh
Lil Dicky when Big Dicky walks in

Can't wait for the Big Clit collab

Idea for Poorly Aged Rap Lyrics, if there will be another one.
“Nobody wants to hear their grandfather rap.”
- Eminem
wait he's a grandfather, i thought his daughter just got married. didn't know hailee's having a child.
@ Yeah, watch the video for Temporary. That’s how we heard about it
T.I on "My Love" by Justin Tiberlake is an obvious example for me. Just the EXACT opposite tone of the rest of the song.

so basicly, lil dicky was heading to the goodwill, and quan was heading to the louis store.
Lil Dicky should be left at Goodwill. I've literally never understood why people find him funny. He's just annoying.
Yeah that was the whole point of lil dickys song was saving money
That kinda was the joke of the feature, yeah.
Guys i am aware of the comedy from the two conflicting sides
Everytime i see one of these vids i think of Far Away - Yebba (feat. ASAP Rocky) the first line always kills me bro 😭 especially after yebbas beautiful singing
The best features are the ones with zero context 🤣
“Rest in peace to those that died in the service,
I dive in her cervix-“
Although that lyric is ridiculous, that's his own song, so that's not a feature.
@ I know, I think my brain heard “out of context” and just went with a wild lyric instead of following the comment 😭🤣
That one ain't even a feature verse, that's just a direct 2 Chainz lyric
