It sounds really similar to the intro instrument to Megalovania but it's not quite the same. I think Turquoise probably set something up himself that sounds very close rather than using the sample
I know you stopped making the extra calamity music because of the situation with the calamity mods but I still have to say that the music is really well done imo and works great even outside of the calamity mod. Me and a friend used it in a thorium playthrough and it was a lot more memorable thanks to your music, this theme specifically.

DM Dokuro was constantly harassed for not making the theme of the current final boss of the mod, Supreme Calamitas, essentially experiencing a constant stream of comments asking "where's supreme calamitas theme??" and I wouldn't doubt death threats occurred too unfortunately. I don't know as much about Ennway's situation, but afaik both had really sour experiences with the Calamity community, (which isn't all bad, but it doesn't take many people to make things look abysmal.) and thus it contributed towards the eventual leave of both creators (edit: the community post from ENNWAY says it wasn't the community, but the calamity team itself) They also might be talking about Ennway's experience with the devs of Calamity itself, I believe they have something about it in their community section

Ngl of all the themes in the mod, this is genuinely my favourite one. It adds a new feel to the fight and adds a bit of colour to a boss I often end up not caring about. Instead of using an imposing kind of theme, which wouldn't really fit skeletron's less than intimidating presence, it makes it something unique and plays into it fantastically, while also fitting right in with the dungeon's atmosphere. Nice work on this one!
When I updated my mods, i was pleasantly surprised by this theme when i fought skeletron. Then I shouted "SANS?" halfway through the song and lost my shit. This boss could not have had a better theme, and even though I hate skeletron in expert, this makes me want to fight him again just to enter the bone zone once more. I've turned the like button blue. That is my attack!

It's astonishing how many people demand for new music but aren't willing to give you and other artists the time to make it. They don't realize just how much effort is put into these things and they take it for granted. Yes your back with some more Calamity music and it's great love the Playing With Firepower motifs. Also I don't know if it's just me but why do I hear a bit of Megalovania among this?
On its own, this track is an absolute bop. I love the little funny bits, but I also like how well you integrated them. The Megalo guitar section feels somewhat somber, which is unexpected but very welcome and fitting for the track due to the character of Skeletron/the Old Man. Also, the trumpet bit reminds me a lot of Twilight Princess, which is also fitting for Skeletron. However, my issue for this track comes in when the gameplay is involved. Skeletron's fight is very frantic, with him tossing his arms back and forth as well as shooting quick and somewhat-homing skulls at you. This slower piece makes me think of a slower-moving or teleporting boss which shoots waves of bullets at you rather than the quick-paced Skeletron fight. tl;dr music is great by itself and fits the character of Skele, but I don't think it'd fit the gameplay nearly as well

This theme really fits skeletron (obviously), and I get flashbacks of fighting him in rev mode while having to constantly go to the nurse every 30 seconds to heal
Now for death mode, where the nurse refuses to heal you during boss fights.
I beat it first try on both Rev and Death and it was my first time playing PC Terraria when I beat him on Rev

On its own, this track is an absolute bop. I love the little funny bits, but I also like how well you integrated them. The Megalo guitar section feels somewhat somber, which is unexpected but very welcome and fitting for the track due to the character of Skeletron/the Old Man. Also, the trumpet bit reminds me a lot of Twilight Princess, which is also fitting for Skeletron.
However, my issue for this track comes in when the gameplay is involved. Skeletron's fight is very frantic, with him tossing his arms back and forth as well as shooting quick and somewhat-homing skulls at you. This slower piece makes me think of a slower-moving or teleporting boss which shoots waves of bullets at you rather than the quick-paced Skeletron fight.
tl;dr music is great by itself and fits the character of Skele, but I don't think it'd fit the gameplay nearly as well

I downloaded the extra calamity music mod and started a revangeance playtrough with it and a skeletron sans texture pack and at somepoint in the fight i randomly yelled "SANS" and 0:40 started playing so i freaked out
