@@Steven_louis he also shared a gem at 4:04, but can you help me by telling me if he said "Convectively Coupled Calvin Wave?" The 1st word keeps showing up as misspelled even after listening to him say it several times. I'd never heard that phrase said before.

I don't see anything @9:35 that suggests this thing can't make it to the gulf... hanna stayed low, I understand the gulf stream but that's not what i see from the shot ijs

@@iamlegend5373 Yeah everybody thought irma would miss florida and hit the Carolinas but Irma track shifted west at the last second before landfall in miami the traveling the gulf coast in Georgia.
Me 2. Just look at the 0:35 and you will see how that white and black cloud is moving to the west or center of south florida and pulling all the red and yellow strenght with it.
@@DragonRuffian The rain bands closer to the eye wall of Irma made landfall in miami and that is how it lost some strength befor curving north and making landfall near Naples.
