Tim should be running the weather channel! You're so articulate and such a great teacher! We love you dude! Thank you for all your work, and for sharing with the world!
Best meteorologist in the business! I live in Florida and every hurricane season I come here to listen to him, rather than our "hurricane experts". Tim's the man!!
This guy is Excellent!!!! Holy Gezzzz he outta be in charge of the Weather Ch. He has taught me sooo much I swear!! All kidding aside he seriously needs to be given huge recognition and credit for his talent in not only reporting on the situation but explaining why things are the way they are!! Great Job My Friend!!
AMAZING!! TYVMUCH for your "Explanations of all of the activities in these storms"!! I'm in Southeastern Louisiana and we definitely need all of the Information & Explanations we can get!! Thank You Very Much! God bless you 🙏! Watching daily! ♥️
Seriously! I paid attention to all his word choices. Worried aid ... Sighs of disappointment... That's great? He's rooting for the storm. He DOES know they kill people right? I'm in Puerto Rico.. They're not fun... We lose power and water... Elderly die... Pets die... He's rooting for our misery. Asshole.
He is so good - it's like going to hurricane class! He should be national. He is actually better than Bill Karins over at NBC! We appreciate your work.
I have subscribed just because of this weatherman!! He has left me with zero questions. I feel so prepared no matter what happens Because of his explanation. Thank you Mr. Weatherman🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
All meteorologists can pack it up and go home, this is without a doubt the most detailed and enthusiastic tropics report ever produced. I think I’m going to buy a Tropical Storm a Laura Jersey after this because this guy has brought me aboard the bandwagon. Let’s gooo Laura!! 😁 Wow!
This video is by far the best video out there to explain all of this! I’m sick of spaghetti models with a bunch of weather jargon I’ve never heard in my life. This is informative and concise! Thank you so much!!!
Finally presentation of facts to support an opinion. Totally agree with others, he is SO much better than most other weather "reporters". True meteorologist
Woahhhh! This man needs to be teaching weather and climate at a college! I just learned so much! 👍🏽🌪 I will now refer to the Gulf of Mexico as the GoM now! It’s done!
Another excellent tropical update! Was wondering if you were going to mention the Fujiwara effect considering how close these two systems are forecast to be. As I'm sure you know, the Fujiwara effect happens in North America most often from late fall through early spring with cold core systems. A bonafide Fujiwara is an interesting thing to watch... the ballet of the meteorological world.
Love these videos! You mentioned that depending on the storm's strength, it would have either a northward or southward track. Why exactly are stronger storms more likely to have a more northward track? Does it have something to do with the Bermuda High?
WavinSouth7 great question! If a storm is more vertically built, more intense than it is more susceptible to upper level steering flow. The forecast upper level winds would likely help to pull it a little farther north.
Is this man from the weather channel or somewhere else? First time I have seen him. Years ago there was Nash Roberts out of New Orleans that was an awesome weather man, this was before we had all of these computers running all kinds of probabilities. Nash could take take a large drawing board and use his drawing pens and just about every time tell us where a storm was going to go, and he was right on the money probably 95 % of the time.
Ok I know you don't answer comments. So for those out there, I live in N.C. I am also 58 years old. Been through a lot of these Hurricanes. Now I say Laura will be a cat 2. The other one will stay a cat 1. Be safe during these things and get ready now. DO NOT wait till it gets close. Take care everyone. May God be with you
The only things keeping these storms from being stronger and worse is the shear and the dry air. It seems that this year is the year of shear and tearing these storms apart before they can organize. I also don't think I can remember a year with so much dry air over the Caribbean.
I live in the Caribbean and would like to thank you for one of the most detailed weather analysis I have ever heard. You really do a great job.
This dude has taught me more meaningful things than I’ve ever learned in high school
Glad I got kicked out.. graduated early. Homeschooled. Best way, at home.. online. 👍
This guy needs to run the weather channel absolutely!!! I've learned more from him today than I've learned from The Weather Ch in years!!!
Absolutely, he’s really good
When a weatherman takes the spotlight over 2 deadly tropical systems means he is a dangerous person

Get rid of the weather channel, this man is all we need!
This man is the G.O.A.T of meteorologist
I like Goats.

Best meteorologist in the business! I live in Florida and every hurricane season I come here to listen to him, rather than our "hurricane experts". Tim's the man!!
He is so much better than our locals. He is awesome.
I agree....I love watching his reports because he’s so knowledgeable and articulate.
I was going to write the same thing. I check this channel before I listen to my local weatherman.
One of the best meteorologist out there along with Alan Sealls. Very informed. These guys break down weather systems thoroughly.
Watching from NOLA! We do NOT need a storm heading our way, but I pray anyone in this storms path stays safe 🙏🏾🙏🏾.
Natalia Evanna I agree! I’m in the Florida panhandle and I’m not ready for this. Praying for you guys over there in NOLA
I'm watching in Slidell Natalia Evanna... I will be praying for us all cajuns!
My god I just learned more in 18 minutes than I did in my entire life of watching the weather. This guy should be working at NOAA as their front man.
The leading weatherman...best I have ever seen in my life.
The most detailed hurricane coverage I think I've ever seen!
I love this guy....let's give him the meteorologist of the year🎖🏆
Well done. Concise, data based, and all of it hooked onto a strong narrative track.

I'm in South Louisiana and watching your forecast closely. Thank you for such a great forecast that we can understand.
I had some trouble figuring out who this guy is rooting for. He’s with the storm. Once you have that in context, he’s awesome.
Rooting for Laura
😃

Very good relevant information. I live in The Keys, I’ve heard most of it before. This guy is well informed and smart.
I have subscribed just because of this weatherman!! He has left me with zero questions. I feel so prepared no matter what happens Because of his explanation. Thank you Mr. Weatherman🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Checking in from Tucson. Hurricane Genevieve sent us rain! She may be out in the Pacific, but she did us a solid yesterday evening.
