Living in UK, I'm glad we don't get full-on hurricanes thanks to all that lovely cold N Atlantic water which surrounds us. I'll trade cold feet when paddling at the beach any day, knowing that (at least for the foreseeable future..!) we're not going to be hit by tropical cyclones. We *do* get the remnant lows as "tai-end" hurricanes and they can be a bit... lively at times.
I shushed my husband so I could hear Tim share the weather today! Lol, he took a deep bow to TIm on the TV. Keep it up- you are our favorite meteorologist-teacher!
Weather and nature have a sense of humor.... Teddy and Beta: painting the globe with a gigantic happy face, for all aliens to see. Paulette: rolling around the globe like it’s drunk and lost and it’s nobody’s business.
In 2005 there was a cold front connecting multiple storms that lead to massive flooding into New Hampshire. The breadth of that was massive and trailed well into the Atlantic then crossed Central Americas and terminated in the Pacific Ocean.
Paulette became a strong extratropical cyclone not long ago, weekend a bit, and once it got to warm water it started to gain back more tropical characteristics. I don’t think it was ever a remnant low.
I'm a bit late in the comments but as a Newfoundlander I wana say thanks. We've been getting an odd mixture of warm and cold weather as the hurricanes are trying to delay the fall season.
Paulette seems drunk. based on her track, she seem to have had a bit too much to drink. lol and i won't even say what her track is in the shape of hahaha
@Thicky Nicki You're probably right.. maybe that's why her track is all over the Atlantic ocean, searching for Leslie. The hurricane version of Wicker Park
i’m genuinely curious, if teddy was a couple of hundred miles west and impacted the northeast/nyc, could it have been more catastrophic and historic than sandy? it’s so far north and still a powerful system and so huge 🤔 too bad it’s mostly a fish storm
$5 bucks says Paulettes going to do a full circle back down and then strengthen to become the strongest hurricane ever seen, heading back towards the US again
Who cares about the past years. We are here for now

Paulette: I'm going to pretend I didn't see that

Tim the best as usual. I hit that "thumbs up" button even before he spoke.
There was a hurricane record not From 2005 or this season... not for much longer, and that cold front is a beauty

How crazy would it be if Paulette goes back West and becomes a hurricane?
I was wondering if that was possible.
A lot of greek letters and Paulette!
If it does, I hope it comes to ur state & reek havoc.
it’s a bit too far north but that would be so cool
Just Me she floated like a butterfly and stung like a bee
"20 o-five" threw me off way more than it should have.
Thank You

What about the tropical area south Florida??
Watch a local channel. This is concerned with LA/TX area.
lt34102 well he spoke about hurricane teddy which is no where near that.
What's the longest time duration a post tropical remnant low took to regain tropical storm status?
Whats the significance of that 2000mile cold front?
Yep we got real wet in North Houston on Tuesday night! Ts Beta
Looking back at this teddy is the most subtropical hurricane I have ever seen
Any chance Paulette will circle back around and affect the US?
Would Paulette be Paulette-2? Because I’ve seen something with that before.
its the same storm hasn't died yet.
Will Oklahoma get any rain from beta please awnser or any of the other tropical storms or hurricanes
You're Oklahoma; just no.
Paulette seems drunk. based on her track, she seem to have had a bit too much to drink. lol and i won't even say what her track is in the shape of hahaha
She thinks she is John now
You never know what a drunk hurricane will do, it may put some hurt on you.

Can Paulette turn west and become strong again? It’s track Leads it into waters that are 75 and eventually 80 with low shear.
