I have the MC Overline Rocker Rails on my two door JL and I’m looking forward to seeing if you can manage to hit them. They’re so high clearance that mine don’t have a scratch on them after two full days at AOAA and a full day at Rausch Creek running mostly blue and black trails. They feel super solid, so I’m not worried about it if/when I do smack a rock, but usually the frame hits before these have a chance. For context, and have a 2.5” MC Gamechanger and 315/70r17 tires.
Damn IT!!! My instructions did not mention loosening that panel. I was some pissed when there wasn't room for those nutserts. I MADE them work anyway but I didn't have that nice tool. I had to use the one that came in the package... the twisty nut thing. Which I proceeded to wreck!! So I built another one. I still ended up with one too crooked for the cap Allen bolt to work. I was also sitting on the gravel of my driveway all day! Then I took them off at a later date to paint them. Yikes!
Im partial to the skins with the Overline sliders that The Ginger is running... I wonder what that setup would look like on a gladiator!!! Hahaha awesome video guys. Can't wait to see these things on the trail.
I winced when I saw you drilling without putting masking tape over your pilot hole. I knew your burs were going to scrape the paint around your job. Been there, done that. Live and learn.
Are those mc sliders strong enough to hold the entire weight of the jeep? My current sliders are frame mounted and super strong but I want to go long arms and they're in the way but I don't trust sheet metal mounted sliders
my personal opinion don't take it any other way i dislike the body skin and i like the step. i think metal cloak makes some of the best sliders though for the money other companies are like 2 grand for something similar.
Really enjoy the videos . Esp the 2 door material . Keep it up . Great job
Thanks for watching and for your support! Cheers from the team at EPIC!
