There is never a right or wrong in Makeup...I do not judge another drag queens makeup...I just know that makeup is a constant thing to improve...so if you like what you see in the mirror...then it's ok...and never forget....the rainbow has many colors...love Cristòbal
GUYS!!!!! The point of Drag make-up is to emphasize the color. Most drag shows are done from a stage where there is almost always harsh lighting. And like theatre performances, the focal point for makeup is always the eyes and lips. They're gonna look a bit too colorful up close but it always looks great on a stage. Let's not judge these guys.
Hannah Harlow This is true, but, in the drag world we have something called, "Clocking". This is where other drag queens point out imperfections within your makeup or outfit. If the audience hears their favorite performer say something bad about you, they're less likely to tip. I'm not against the style, because hey, to each their own. But you'd really have to make a name for yourself and perform your a$$ off to get anywhere. This tutorial reminds me more of my first time in drag than what I look like today. If you look at a lot of "successful" queens, they're a lot more blended or have other talents to showcase.
Zachary Newman True. But most imperfections are virtually unnoticeable on stage. But up close, personal, and in-your-face, lets face it even some of the most polished queens can look a lil' rough. Most queens have better things to do than to try and clock me for every tiny imperfection. The queens who are always saying bad things about other queens always ends up not getting many tips. Id rather put the energy into my gig than into reading another queen. IJS
I agree, NY drag image now is so different than my first time! I also don't click other Queens but I do help them if they need it. With this makeup I would've gone deeper on the contour, lighter on the highlight, plumper on the lips and bolder on the lashes but that's just me. To each their own. 😊
Nice. The only think I don't love is the white right below the brow. I could be wrong, but I feel like because your raising the brow and the skin underneath it is already sticking out under the new brow rather than curving into the socket like under the real brow, the white isn't needed to make it pop. But that's just me. Still looks beautiful.
Wow. Beaten to it...Well, I'd gladly model. The make-up artist great bone structure, great skin and handsome so I was looking more at him since he is pretty hot
Well...I'm not really an expert when it comes to theatrical makeup (actually, I can hardly put any eyeliner on), but I quite liked it. The quality of the video is pretty good: he did point out every product he had used (which is the main point, I suppose) and the queen looked...classy, I dare say. Probably, it could be quite a light makeup to perform in a show; as for a photo shooting, it seems better this way. Keep up the good work. P.S. I'm deeply sorry for my English: it's not my native language and I haven't practiced properly in ages.
It looks really great! I just wish he would've gone deeper with the contour, lighter with the highlight, bigger with the lips, bolder with the lashes and put some glitter on the inner corner of the eyes but that's just me. Other than that he did a fantastic job! :)
+Jessie Boo You do know... You dont have to be gay to do drag?... or a man.. all genders and sexual orientations do it. You could get help btw if you need it.
As a gay guy, I hateeeeeee drag queen make up, it looks soooo bad. Like the person got slapped with a bunch of crayola markers. Why does it have to be so colorful and over the top? I don't mind the AMOUNT of make up they use, but it's the different colors, the non-blending, the over-exaggerated eyebrows, etc. I don't get it.
That's the point, I suppose. They aren't necessarily trying to look like women. A lot of drag queens say that they want to maintain their manliness even through the pounds of makeup. It's just supposed to be very over the top, performer, crazy makeup and that's the fun of it.
As a gay guy, you should explore different queens, some of your local ones maybe. there are many different styles and it sounds like you haven't seen much variety.
Personally, I kinda liked him better without all the make-up. I mean, I know it's about becoming your true self, but there is not a single natural being that looks like that.
Everything was perfect except the lip color...too faded, always mix colors of the same intensity, and then you can mix any color, but that soft pink just made him look like a guy who didn't know what he was doing despite the fabulous eyes, cheeks and contouring...
lips are too small, need to be exaggerated more and the lip color is losing the battle of trying to keep up with the eyes. also think eyebrows are too wide set something looks a little bit off-kilter
OK😹being caked faced is being yourself lol ya right😸 now don't get me wrong makeup is not a bad thing if its not covering your natural looks or make you look crazy like this
+kianna curtishia they are literally becoming a different GENDER on stage and you think that the makeup is them not being themselves? They are SUPPOSED TO LOOK DIFFERENT. It's called ACTING and they need to look different and feminine and overly make-upped because that's what the audience wants. If you're looking for a daily make up tutorial go to a different site what kind of comment even was that.
It was too thick around the face...there was ""NO SOFTNESS in the colors no blending ......just harsh heavy colors.....eye brow looks painted on ...not natural at all ...((it looked CLOWNIE ))
Short hair always gives an additional sharpness to the make up! Nice job!!
Nice. I love the way he did the makeup

Great video, thank you for your positive energy.
Blessings and Love,

I love this, great job!!!😊

Your English is wonderful. If you hadn't mentioned it wasn't your native language, I wouldn't have known.
MommyOfZoeAndLiam Thank you. I'm working on it, though. A little bit of polishing here and there is always pretty useful.
Amazing

I love his haiiirrrrrr
Those zombie heads in the back scared me lol
His eyelids are like vibrant butterfly wings
As a straigh woman I'm so jelous that those guys can make their makeup on point while I can hardly do the line of the eyeline.
+Jessie Boo You do know... You dont have to be gay to do drag?... or a man.. all genders and sexual orientations do it. You could get help btw if you need it.
thats so cool! he actually looked like a women after!

That's kinda the point...

Julio Irokromo that's drag hunny. 😉
When I grow up I want that many wig heads
How do you get the glue off after that?
You wash it
Veronica Blane agreed! I use Elmer's Purple School Glue and it comes off with soap and water. 🙂
he looks like he's going to say "and may the odds be ever in your favor"
the masks in the back caught my eye and I kept getting distracted..

I don't know how someone can be a FEMALE IMPERSONATOR and make themselves look like the Ronald McDonald clown.
Matt Sleeth Female impersonation is 90% of it. kthxbai
Matt Sleeth BYE BONQUEETA.
Personally, I kinda liked him better without all the make-up. I mean, I know it's about becoming your true self, but there is not a single natural being that looks like that.
that's why it's called drag..
This isn't a transgender transformation it's a drag queen transformation...
I love you, Aunti Perris in Ca
You let an old bitch know that i cab be brought back!!! Bbeautiful work beloved. 💞💞💞😱
você poderia me passar o sit ond posso comprar as meik em bastão
The heavy blush wasn't necessary and the nose was overly contoured.
This is totally Felicia's makeup from Priscilla!
Wow. This man is so lucky. He has gorgeous sexy eyes and lips and his long lovely neck is delightfull. Love it.
oh my god
He look like Willma from "The Horizon Series"...
Forgot to contour the adam's apple- possibly?? Ah
Everything was perfect except the lip color...too faded, always mix colors of the same intensity, and then you can mix any color, but that soft pink just made him look like a guy who didn't know what he was doing despite the fabulous eyes, cheeks and contouring...
It wasn't until nearly at the end of the video did I notice the masks at the back XD Also um....How do drag queens....Um....make boobs?? 0////0
Plastic and foam is a wonderful thing
Oh! Thanks for telling me...I've also been curious probably a bit too curious XD
+Charlotte Hazeltine (Chimchar) Foam and contouring, look it up. (Clear search history afterwards)
lips are too small, need to be exaggerated more and the lip color is losing the battle of trying to keep up with the eyes. also think eyebrows are too wide set something looks a little bit off-kilter
He could've just slapped on Bozo the clown's mask in the end. He looks terrible!! Scared, awkward and nervous...simply horrible!!
Mean
+Kuki Gift Box Like you could do better, fucking bitch.
keep calm and be yourself which is not this🙇
That's literally the point of drag queen makeup. You become a completely different you.
OK😹being caked faced is being yourself lol ya right😸 now don't get me wrong makeup is not a bad thing if its not covering your natural looks or make you look crazy like this
This is stage makeup. The entire point of it is to be outlandish and colorful. It's an art form, and it's not meant to be natural.
+paetonkristine in my opinion I don't see this as art 👽 but whatever
+kianna curtishia they are literally becoming a different GENDER on stage and you think that the makeup is them not being themselves? They are SUPPOSED TO LOOK DIFFERENT. Yos si yo me pongo eso no duro ni un minuto jajajj
It was too thick around the face...there was ""NO SOFTNESS in the colors no blending ......just harsh heavy colors.....eye brow looks painted on ...not natural at all ...((it looked CLOWNIE ))
oh god....
Blending is not industry standard...Why am I typing this
That looks terrible
Shit girl, he looks so uncomfortable at the end. lol
Awesome )
I don't like how over the top the makeup is. To make him look female you could have done it in a natural style.
That's true. At the time I wrote that I thought it was just a video of a gender changing transformation not drag as I wasn't aware of what that was.
The brows are a tragedy
LOL
2 much make👆
Que desastre.
Чёт не очень.
Oh gosh Verry Bad!!!!
Way to much makeup!!😑😷
bruh that's the whole point of drag
.....are you fucking kidding me I hope this is a joke...
Orrible!!! Sorry
Pfantastic*
does anyone else see the prosthetic masks in the background that are amazing yet terrifying
