I've heard/spoken of/heard pf some talk of "Soul Contracts" we make before incarnation here. However, as you say, we are not as bound to them as we think. I have made an attempt to shred all such things and seize my own power. WWIII may happen. It may not. Can we all trust each other not to kill each other and allow each other to thrive? There are several times our world was almost ended in nuclear fire...except for one person who said "No, I want to verify we need to do this." Yet...there is Wargames, where this is seen by the government as a BAD thing, and they seek to remove the human element, thereby causing the same catastrophe as the PC didn't understand futility in games. From it came one of the biggest pieces of esoteric wisdom. "The only winning move is NOT TO PLAY." My life's "game" is not about one-upmanship, or kill count, or any of that. Did I leave the world a little better for those that will be here when I will supposedly perish? That is kinda my guiding light.
A very good message, John, and a refreshing change from so many of the "Perilous Times Ahead!" predictions...Some even claim that the "war for our very souls has begun!" Anyway, enjoying my coffee, and doing my best to live a more loving, fun, and creative life...
I am DEEP into near-death experiences. Like, using AI to write down and correlate NDEs to see the commonality between them levels of deep. And what you are saying is true from the perspective of the NDE. People who have pre-birth experiences often talk about the possibilities of specific things happening. "There is a good possibility that you will break your arm at 9 years old. But it will add to your experience and be good for you." Even a fella said he freaked out as he entered a new life and stopped the process before it was completed. He uderstood that because he didn't complete the entry process the baby passed and the family and their friends were going to be devastated. But not to worry, God will use that pain to their benefit. We have so much free will that we can change the very plan as we live it. lol, a lady had an NDE and was told this was her end. She argued against staying so much that they let her come back and the "grand plan" was changed to accommodate her continued living. Her son was going to learn some very specific and important things from her passing and God made room for her return. God has incorporated our free will into the grand design. And it all works out for the better. Go live!

I think people see God and his giant glorious self and think there is some super, inter-dimensional comics plan that is beyond the grasp of our stupid meat brains! But time and time again these NDEers say the grand design is a simple thing. We are meant to live and love. By doing more loving we are fulfilling God's giant mind-melting plan. Time and time again these NDEers are told it is not their time. They have work they must do. They are meant to experience and do such great things they just have to live again! Do you know what those experiences were? Those who were told they were destined to do such great things? Live life. Go to work. Be a grandma. Get frustrated at your stupid car. However, the experiencer is encouraged to do so with loving intent. That is why we live and that is all the grand design is. When we love, love grows. And life is resistance training for the love you came here to grow. I hope this doesn't come off as me trying to change your mind. You have amazing thoughts and you do resonate with me energetically. Buddha said with our thoughts we change the world. You talk about what is missing: That we can make any choice with our free will… but we still gotta (get to!) walk the walk or discipline of our desires. Sometimes this meets subconscious resistance but persistence comes into play (PS. My daughter has always been annoyed when I breath out like that after a satisfying drink. Thank you, John, I am very selective on Who I listen to, "psychic" is a term used by many a shyster, and those who predict WW3, I totally ignore. As you said, they sell a lot of books. I stay with the reality that is mine to change if I dont like it. Why does gloom and doom attract so many? Why not be what you want to see in others? I dont look at others so much as myself and where my thoughts go at any given moment, and change them when I catch myself going negative. That alone is a full time work. I dont have time to sit in a corner awaiting the "end times". My actions will say always where I'm at, pos or neg. As for the rest, I wont quake at the "shadows". Love and peace to you, and all.
If a child has chosen to die young, could they then die in any number of circumstances at their chosen age? Otherwise, it would suggest, for example, that their illness was predetermined, or the war in which they were killed was predetermined, or their fatal accident was predetermined, which would go against what you are saying about free will. I find it hard to get my head around this, much as I want to believe that we have choice.

The event that causes a person to leave this incarnation has to happen to fulfil their pre-chosen exit, which would suggest that the cause of death is also predetermined, potentially right down to the specific incident that causes their departure, no? Regarding life being eternal, I tend to err on the side that it is, mostly due to NDE accounts, but I find it hard to square free will with the specific conditions surrounding a pre-chosen death. Not sure if I am expressing myself clearly here...
I dislike the concept of pre-planning, contracts...etc because it often just sounds like victim blaming. Like if a wife has an abusive husband or a child has abusive parents it's because they chose it. It completely absolves all parties of all actions,denies any game happened and blames the wife and kid for asking for they experience from their abuser. Which basically means that there's completely no point in fighting any injustice in the world because the people being affected chose it and the abusive individuals are not at fault. They're just completing a contract. New age people even go as far as saying you must be spiritually best friends with the people who harmed you most cause who else would agree to incarnate to do that to you? I find such thinking pretty gross.

I recently had someone say to me, why would the universe choose to give you what you want when others are suffering? I personally believe in God and am in alignment with your messages most of the time. But yeah, I do wonder why so many people live in war torn countries, or experience starvation, the list goes on and on. Do you have any videos on this?

I believe that we choose the lessons we want to learn in our life. We have free will so if we don't learn them then it's rinse and repeat for us.
