I will say I haven’t been able to stop learning, and have stayed stagnated in a learning zone. No movement, just consistent student, again and again and again and again. Even though it’s meant to be retrograde, this is showing up in the external world. Groundhog day everyday.
My goodness. How did i not know this. I’ve been always frustrated that I can’t articulate or express what i think. My head explodes some times. I have consulted psychologists but nothing seemed to address this issue. They always round it back to low confidence low self esteem but it is so much deeper. I’m shook and can rest in peace at the same time after knowing the cause of it.
I have a retrograde Mercury in Gemini. Crazy. You described my childhood before I gained the confidence to speak my truth. I was extremely shy and afraid to say the wrong thing that I literally was MUTE except to my family and close friends. Even with my close friends, I only muttered a few words. In middle school, I started to feel more open to people and share my thoughts. Still reserved, though. After a lot of life lessons, maturing, and self work, It wasn't until my mid to late 20a that I have felt like I can be unapologetically me and speak my thoughts and feelings clearly and proudly.

Also, I just did the progressed chart calculations. When reading another site, I learned that I was born exactly 3 hours after Mercury Rx started (lucky me, am I right?). So it took a long time for Mercury to start going direct again (19 days) and even longer for it to clear the shadow (34 days). I think this makes SO much sense because I very noticeably broke out of my shell when I turned 19. I started standing up for myself against toxic people (after weeks and weeks of rumination and overthinking to make sure I wasn't making a rash or hurtful decision, of course), speaking up about my needs at work (I was only working part-time but still somehow working 30-36 hours a week along with taking 18 units' worth of classes in college), and I started hanging out more with friends without experiencing as much anxiety, though I definitely still do. I became more confident in my intellectualism and actually, for the first time in my life, didn't necessarily feel like a freak for being so, I guess, "cerebral." Hopefully my 34th birthday will bring similar feelings/experiences and even more confidence!

North Node moves backward naturally, so North Node retrograde is totally normal! 💓🙏🏼✨
