Makes so much sense for me. I have Venus and Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio 7th house. I’m 35 and I can’t tell you how many times I have the same relationship issues or have to repeat myself to people multiple times in my life. I learn a lesson, leave toxic people behind and then fall into the same trap with new people. I’m finally finding my voice in these situations..my moon is in Cancer so I nurture and care way too much, believing I’m doing something good but then screw myself. I’m Aries rising and North Node, so lately I’ve been more self oriented. All of my relationship whether it’s family, friends or significant others challenge my life and force me to have to make big decisions no matter how safe I try to live my life. I’ve always been very emotional, my chart is mostly water, so at this age because of all the trials I’ve been through, I’ve definitely developed a thicker skin and are more equipped to do the things in my own life without fear of judgement. It’s a lot of work though and very exhausting!
Wow .... I hear and feel your challenges. 💚 I also have Venus and Mercury in Scorpio, and thankfully not retrograde, though they are there in my 3rd House along with Chiron and Jupiter and the South node and in a T square with other significant planets. Your challenges sound so real and frustrating and though thankfully I don't have the (R) factor I know how life can feel on a path with some similar themes. First, your awareness is so helpful, so you can begin to peel back layers and see the influences at this place in your life and forward. I am 74, and for me it has been a deep journey through years, and I am finally in recent years breaking open into my very highest path of coaching. You are blessed to be fairly young in these cosmic times, as they are giving us all the needed nudges to step into greater awareness and break through darker challenges. Nikki, Same with Venus Scorpio retrograde but my Mercury, Sun and Neptune all direct in Scorpio 7th house. Repeat Relationship issues is my Karma. I treat everyone with love, thoughtfulness, compassion and respect. I have NEVER truly received the same energy back and it hurts. I’m 59 now and finally realized I am at a higher level emotionally than most people. There is nothing wrong with me, Stay Strong Sister ♥️♥️🙏🙏 p.s Moon in Pisces…..oh boy am I sensitive but thank God for my Aries Rising and Mars in Leo. Every ones insight is making me realize how important it is to learn to set boundaries early in my life and follow my heart. It is true, we do not get what we give and it is very disappointing. I have both Venus and Mercury retrograde in my natal chart and all these new activation points are hitting me almost exact in my 1st and 2nd houses!! I have literally been hanging onto your every word because this time feels extra potent. Oh yeah and my mars and Venus are both in Leo in the first house. I have mercury rx in my rising- Libra. Not this past retrograde but the one before it -it transited=it was so nice to have things working with ease for a time. I do take every last minute to review a test before handing it in. Same with my essays & other works. I review them many.many times before submitting them.

Same! I wonder what Chiron Rx would imply. I know Chiron is the wounded healer, so maybe there’s something about this energy that is repeating or reviewing until mastery? Just a guess!
That use of the Lego was a great demo. A friend who is Sun Gemini born w/natal Mercury Retrograde always would come alive during the Mercury Rx cycle while most of us felt "motion sickness". When Mercury was direct she would seem to get into more verbal altercations.

I have Mars and Mercury retrograde in my natal chart, both of my kids have Mars retrograde. My husband has natal Mars and Mercury in Aries, direct, and it makes sense why we clash with the way to go about things, confrontation, assertion “being direct” 😂… But I have learned so much from him in these areas. The kids are also more like me in these ways, and I hadn’t understood why before. It makes so much sense now ☺️

I expected to find Mercury retrograde in my natal chart after watching this video, but when I checked, it was direct. Still glad I know more about this aspect
Wow! I have mars mercury chiron and north and south nodes all in retrograde. Thats alot to handle. I internalize alot and it takes me a very long time to figure things out in my head before I take action. Not sure where to go from here now that I know this. Just a quick question , what you said about periods of transiting planets in retrograde being extra productive for us when we have it in retrograde in our chart , is that true even for outer planets , someone close to me has Saturn retrograde in his natal chart , does that mean the Saturn retrograde periods every year are actually productive periods for him in every way ?

I have Venus Retrograde in Scorpio 7th house 😬😬😬😬 Yes, divorced. My ex has Mars in Leo 7th house…😡🤬 I now have Mars Retrograde in Leo 3rd house but natal in Leo 5th house (much energy put into my children, sports, mental health, autoimmune disorder, etc.)? I found having children exhausting….I love them dearly but it was HARD!!

All my personal planets are direct (and in the bottom half of my chart minus Mars) and all my outer planets are retrograde (and in the top half of my chart) 😆 Very easy for me to express myself but not “out in the world”, I am more close to home with my expression. I've got a lot of retrograde in my chart - Mercury, Jupiter, Neptune, and Uranus.
I had Jupiter in (r).
I have 3 planets Stationary
#1- in Leo, Mercury SRx, conjunct Uranus
#2- in Scorpio, Neptune SD and is a Focaliser to my Sun opp Moon
#3- in Scorpio, Jupiter SD and it Squares my Mercury cj Uranus just under 100° (wide over square orb) and Mars cj Pluto (wide under square orb) and these 4 are opposite Chiron. These energies have manifest in my life quite strongly. Esp lately my Mars cj Pluto (creation organs) opp Chiron (the Healer) has been activated. Near death twice.
Anyways the 2 SD and Focalising planets in Scorpio make people think I'm Scorpio. Even tho my Cancer Asc trines my Neptune and my Cancer Sun trines my Jupiter the Scorpio energy is very evident. Maybe the Scorpio _turbos_ my Cancer stuff into some Mr Hyde creation.

How do you know if you were born during a retrograde?
On your birth chart where it lists what and where your planets are, to the right after all the degrees, there will be a little "r" if it was in retrograde. I dont know how to read or see it on the big circular part, I'm still learning too but I hope that helps.
Is this the same for the nodes and Chiron?
I have no personal planets retro and am affected when they are. Only Pluto, Saturn, & Uranus are retro in my chart. Maybe do a talk on the affects of the outer planets being retro. Especially when Pluto goes through our sun sign during a solar return then retro back into that sign then forward again. To me that has been far worse that any personal planet going retro.

There is an R next to then in your natal astrology chart. You can also look at an ephemeris for the year you were born to see where the planets were on your birthday, and which ones were retrograde.
