I’m convinced the reason activision gave crash 4 to toys for bob is because they were too scared the colourblind vicarious employee would continue to mess it up
God I love this game so much, it was the first game that me and my brother got on the PlayStation 1. I never got to beat it because the disc broke but years later we found it at a flea market and I got to play through it in a day when I was stuck at home recovering from a broken arm in 4th grade. I was so proud of my self for finally beating this game.
basically, this game needs 3 spins, and all of them is VS Cortex... that one just broke my heart, but I knew it was impossible to beat cortex without spinning
First of all: You are Criminally underviewed and followed. Have some engagement. Second: I love the humor, especially in the intro. A lot of people do challenge videos, and while I Am interested in the challenge itself, you manage to keep them engaging, with the comedy and enthusiastic delivery of the details. Good stuff. Me like.
I haven't tested it on the N.Sane version, but on ps1, you could skip that intro level (which AFAIK doesn't affect completion rating) by going into the load menu and then exiting it. Because in the PS1 version at least the save menu was kind of diegetic and part of the environment of the warp room, it put you in the warp room without anything completed. Now, you're free to argue that one should count the intro level since it's part of the game, if you want to. This is just pointing out a potential alternative.
On PS1, skipping the cutscene also skips the intro level and goes straight to the Warp Room. As mentioned in the video though, skipping the cutscene on N. Sane only gets you to the playable portion of the intro, which you can then skip via the pause menu.
@@DanielMontenegroBass This running gag started in my Crash 1 video, and was in reference to the Gem Path requirements in The Great Hall. You need 20 Clear Gems specifically in the PS1 version, while the N. Sane Trilogy needs any 20 Gems regardless of colour.
It's only in the original. The N. Sane Trilogy dropped the Jump Combo mechanic altogether. But in the PS1 version, it's very simple to do it using the trampolines in Hang 'Em High's Backdoor.
Also I was big brain. I checked when u released crash 1st vid, 4 months ago. And this was abound 1month and I think 3 weeks ago. So hopefully in 1month and 1 week we get it lol also I SWEAR I LEFT MY PHONE ON SILENT! I GOTTA TAKE THIS! SOWWY. This message is a ticking time bomb. Run for existance. The colour blind creator is a God. What phrase for the ticking time bomb will u use on crash 3? Also don't even think about crash 4
But then you can't do Rock It or Pack Attack, as the Electro Lab Assistants require two damage boosts each, and the Checkpoints are spaced too far apart.
I’m convinced the reason activision gave crash 4 to toys for bob is because they were too scared the colourblind vicarious employee would continue to mess it up
I don't think they left him out completely. Crash 4 was the first game to have colourblindness settings.
Dang, so close! If only the colorblind programmer at Activision worked on the final boss fight. . .
The timing of you saying "hello" and coco mouthing the word "hello" was actually perfectly edited together
Can you give a timestamp?
@@JasonEddie151 5:01 coco answers her phone and he and her both say "hello"

He's taking bandicoot technology too far!
"The colourblind programmer at vicarius visions"
Bro roasts this man because he is a programmer💀
1:30 had me laughing really hard, I like it when you put stuff like that in your videos.
No, Not the bees!
Not the bees!

*intro cutscene plays*
Me: doesn’t Crash spin after this cutscene?
*Crash spins*
Me: YUP!
If I had a nickel for every time he did that, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice, right?
Yeah, but I am pretty sure he doesn’t do it in Crash 3!
@@JUMPYCOOL And Future Me is thankful for that!

I was impressed by this and thought halfway through the video “wait, what about cortex?”. Only for him to actually ruin your spinless run
This run is now a minamalist and only 3 spins are needed
In the original Crash 2, if you skip the cut scene it brings you to the wrap room and skips the cut scene with coco and the little level too.
Yeah, but then you can't get as many spinless Gems
@@DrRank If my memory serves me right, the mini-level never gave you a gem. I think it was meant as a tutorial.
3:17 thought was about to say "retreat into its former shell-f" but okay
Nice alliteration at the beginning!
Actually you deserve to make the spins on cortex in the finale after the entire ordeals of damage boosting in many levels
What is the meaning behind the "colorblind developer at vicarious vision"? Am I Just stupid tô dont get the joke?

great video, but gyroscopic stability is achieved by spinning :)
Can the jump combo bug be abused to get to 100% or does that only work on the original?
It's only in the original. The N. Sane Trilogy dropped the Jump Combo mechanic altogether.

You would still have to fight cortex then i think

Crash warped will be a minimum spins challenge as the "death tornado spin" is enforced and required for completion
Funny story...
you can skip the first spin by playing the ps1 version gg
