I'm trying this run on the PS4 version. For some reason there's an invisible wall in Breeze Harbor, where that clam that you used to kill both bucket blubbers, cannot be pushed past. So sadly I don't think I'll be able to beat this challenge on the PS4.
Glad I'm not the only one that thinks Gateway to Glimmer is a terrible name. There's not even any justifiable reason for it. Spyro doesn't even go through a gateway to Glimmer unless he's backtracking from Summer Forest. He got there because he was crudely yanked out of a gateway to a completely different world. That's not a gateway "to Glimmer", that's just an abduction.
@@mathewmallon7208 Well, I can confirm that you can at least push Buzz with the Headbash. And there may be some NG+ flight shenanigans available as well.
You don’t need to make a new user to avoid NG+ superflame. Just use a new save file. The game gives you three. …or you can just input the superflame cheat to toggle it off.
Permanent Superflame status is saved to the Global save data for Reignited, not just any one save file. Once you obtain it, it's enabled by default for all save files, even if you delete the original file. The cheat code is literally the only way to disable it. Whereas the PS1 version, since it uses Memory Cards, only has PSF enabled for as long as the game is running after collecting it.
@@Saaaahdoood The Reignited version of Spyro 2 is still Spyro 2 in spirit, even if it is legally a different video game from the original. But semantics aside, I'd have to do the original Spyro 1 first.
I'm sorry but I grew up with it being called Gateway to Glimmer... n its not a stupid name. The game literally opens with Spyros gateway to Dragon Shores being hijacked to take him to Glimmer the first world of Avalar... its not a stupid name. I mean yeah Riptos Rage over seeing a dragon is present but his rage barely comes into the plot he just arrives takes over then gets schooled by ya...
@@DrRank the world itself i guess not though it is apparently where all the gems in Avalar comes from... there's just as much logic naming it after Ripto than it is to title the game on the plot of the intro sequence.
If only doors didn’t exist.
The colour blind programmer at Vicarious Visions is practically a recurring character at this point
In this case the colour blind programmer at toys for Bob

I feel so bad that you can't destroy those doors to get the final orb and 100%
BTW: This has nothing to do with the challenge, but I would actually recommend getting some classic cosmetic mods for Spyro reiterated PC
I laughed so hard at the mario dub to shorty getting bigger. Genius
Subscribed purely for the inclusion of the Thomas the tank engine scene
I'm colorblind, dammit the feels
very creative, well done man
damn that's impressive, even if u missed that one orb. congrats!
is the colourblind employee at vicsrious visions the mascot of this challnel or something
4:47 But not for long!!! Haha
I liked and subbed because of that xD
Impressive video, how did you get the talisman in fracture hills without charging the satyrs to free them?
The satyrs can be freed with the fire breath.
The leggo empire claims this video
the first video game i ever played! and still one of my favorites!
Thanks for calling the game the correct name lol
Great video!
Algorithm did something good for once

I checked Buzz in spyro 3 but he is fireproof, making a chargeless spyro 3 run impossible unless theres a skip I'm missing
It is impossible, but not for that reason.
@@DrRank I know, Buzz is the second roadblock

Dr Rank: you did a live or wrath of Cortex spinless but I can't find it anywhere. Where isbiy
I have it unlisted at the moment, but I can republish it when I get home.

Are the Fracture Hills stone encased satyrs flameable?!
I've beaten this game like 30 times and I don't think I've ever flamed them!
Yeah, you can flame them no problem.
I can't speak for the original though; I was late to the Spyro party.
Great video
So when is Spyro 3 chargeless?
I honestly have no idea. Seashell Shore is a pretty big deterrent.
@@DrRank Don’t worry, man. I tried my own as well. And I was also stuck on Seashell Shore.
Gateway to Glimmer is better because it sounds magical and interesting.
Maybe, but Glimmer is only the first level, and you barely spend ten minutes there.
Also, the Reignited Trilogy doesn't call it that, hence the joke.
Now do it on the real game
@@Saaaahdoood Spyro Reignited Trilogy IS a real game
