Today Nick Glassett is doing the unthinkable and doing a solo pick up of an 18ft dual lane water slide from HEC-Worldwide.com
To make sure he wins, he of course uses the Rollsall motorized dolly, and then attacks the 479 water slide with his rolling straps that you can buy here: TheJumpOffStor...

Nick quit his 16 year "career" as as a District Manager for Journeys shoes in August 2019, and while he worked to scale The Jump Off, he drove uber, sold trash that he found on the side of the road, and picked up as many odd jobs (like building swing sets) as he could.
Then in late 2019, Nick hit "The Bounce House lottery" (nickglassett.c...) and when the pandemic shut everything down in 2020, he sprung into action and took that moment to make The Jump Off what it is today!

What are the shoes you use for water slides? Is it doable to maneuver +300lbs water slides, combos and obstacle courses without an electrical dolly? Should be ok as long as I get the 750lbs capacity 4 wheel Dolly?
Xtra tuff boots. Yes but it wears you out
How is your back? I do 550+lbs with a standard two-wheel dolly. I would NOT recommend it. I'm 46, and the back is killing me. Just got XRays. Next, I'm getting a power dolly--should I continue to do this.
@@nick_o_glass Appreciate the information! 🙏🏼 Keep grinding and posting for the inflatable rental community! I’m 24 years old from Iowa and just started my business back in March and I appreciate you for all the help plus the videos!
@@nick_o_glass Do you ever put apple AirTags in the inflatables for insurance if property is ever stolen?
Where’s the link for the questions?
Do you supply 100 ft hoses to attach to the customers house? Where do you store the hoses by pickup?
50ft. 100 are so long it’s wild.
And they stay on the slide forever and ever
Glad to see you back Nick! We always detach our pools from the slide when we pickup, is that a bad move?
Thanks!! It’s a lot more work so think about 20 waterslides getting picked up on a Sunday…yeah bad move. If you have 3 slides, no biggie. Also, imagine you’re not there for any of the 20…real bad move! Work to scale.
#NotWithoutAPowerDolly :) I do this with a regular dolly. Pain in the butt. My back hates me. But I'm 250lbs.
$5k motorized is worth every nickel
You dont need specialized straps. Regular straps will do the trick too. But Nick, why dont you use the motorized dolly to roll that waterslide? Just attach the straps via a ratchet, hook it to the dolly and just let it do all the work.
Slower! And my straps are lighter and easier to use/transport, therefore FASTER
Last weekend the competition and i both showed up at the same house at the same time
Hahaha that happened to us 4 weeks ago
Hey Nick why don't you use a winch to roll the slides?
Too slow!!!
Did u ever try using a deflator?
Yep I made one from a bucket! It’s ok. Not that special tbh
Rolling straps just seem like extra time. But whatever means you don't get heat stroke.
My guys only use them on big stuff we solo like this, on flooded stuff, and in any other sketchy situation. When I’m out there I use them on all 22ft stuff man, extra 60 secs to save yourself is totally worth it!
I use them. They don’t take long to set up. 1 minute and gives you better leverage
Have you ever tried rolling from back toward the pool? I find it a lot easier.
I hate it! Lol. We’ll do that if the slide is flooded at the front though.
Haha, it's really fun when you show up, and unroll it the wrong way. Did that this weekend from a flooded slide.
Do. You supply the customer with a hose? How do you store the hoses?
Yes. They stay on the slide FOREVER
What I meant was 100 ft hoses to connect to their house?
A bold move to post this. It has been hot out here... Good luck keep up the good work
The go pro over heated twice and I had to shoot a bunch from my phone with no tripod. Haha. It was a mess and was SO HOT dude.
@@nick_o_glass last week I threw up in my mouth from the heat bro, I'm feeling it too
Biggest i have soloed was a 27 with a slip
Dual lane or single lane?
@@nick_o_glass single, but it's all relative, I feel like the older slides were lighter tougher and easier to roll
