well being a fan for past yrs and recommending my family to buy it i will say they have lost the market now. my cousin bought 10t in discount but its main lens even feel lack luster , i feel like i am using upper mid range device rather flagship, but u bring iqoo devices they have good camera (at least i like punchy colours) good sustained gaming performance, i will say colour os i good and i like it a lot and now oneplus is optimizing it properly so feels good. they are priced high and still have that upper mid range feel and in india even nord series is just loosing against like of realme, Mi , or iqoo that has comparatively better device
8t and 9rt were last proper oneplus device that justified their price and performed accordingly. 9rt was also famous and regularly recommended in india.
8t user here and was really tempted to get this after $150 off for the 16 gig version, another $50 off, and $300 for a trade-in, but glad i held off. thanks for this review!
Also an 8T user, was very tempted at trading it in for the 10T but I kept the 10T at the checkout with the trade in applied wondering if I would regret it or not. Guess our 8T is still the best last T variant that OnePlus came out with.
I used to use a mobile gaming phone called Nubia 6spro. The running speed is high and the audio display amazes me. One year later, I gave it up and changed a new one called Oneplus 10T. It is much lighter and quicker in comparison, and the speed of charing battery amazingly triumphs over almost all. However, I'm somehow regretted of buying it. The camera effects are not perfect and the trumpets possibly are the worst among most mobile gaming phones. I should have waited for a while for newer models.
With current discounts plus very generous trade in value I'm getting this phone for around $300. There isn't a $300 phone out there that can match the specs and speed of this device in the US.
Ah that's a shame man! OnePlus used to always pull out some nice little distinctions from the rest in the market in the past. Be it the fast charging, lack of bloatware and good value for money. It really does just look, feel and perform like any other generic middle range smartphone now. Sad times. Hopefully future models will pick up the slack but I can't see that happening personally. As always, awesome video! keep up the good work
I use it for more than 10 days .. i have battery issue charge goes down soon .. conference call don't work.. the other person can't hear . Once the call is disconnected.. on the screen top you would still see that as if u r still on call
First smartphone was android, bought in 2006. It was crap but the best I could afford. In 2011 I bought my first iPad and found in short order that android tablets were donkey droppings compared. Approx 2015/16 I bought my first iPhone and have been iOS on everything until last month. I decided to look at android to see what progress it had made. Picked the one plus 10t. To be honest I thought it was the pro on sale. I love the look of the pro and t and just didn’t remember the pro/t thing, just it was a OP10 with the square camera arrangement. I’ve only had this phone for about a month. And for a android phone I think it is very good. But as is with every android I ever owned, the OS is just not as stable as iOS. I do like the OP UI. It is very iOS like while not being a iOS copy. Slider. It is one phone. And 99% of all androids don’t have this function. OP has already said it was for space for faster charging or cooling or something just on this model and that the slider was not being removed from all OP phones. OP already addressed this, and 99% of anyone who buys this phone who is not a OPtechnofile is never going to know. I wish y’all would stop harping on it.
This goes to show how reviewers who come of as prosumer/power users judge phones exactly how an average mid age mom does. "The phone feels long, the texture on the back doesn't feel good, it's tall, and big." How actual power users judge it > Why would I give a damn what the phone feels like or looks like , it's going in a case instantly, only priorities 1. Leading CPU/GPU performance to run heavy multi threaded apps/games. 2 decent and better battery life.3. 120+ hz with good peak brightness, good color volume and dark blacks. Everything else literally doesn't get a thought
If you're not in the USA there are better options other than this phone. For me, since I live in the USA this phone is a pretty good value for the price.
Thank you so much for this great review. I' m really disappointed of the 10T. No wireless charging at this price in 2022 is a No-Go for me.! The 8T was by far the better deal in 2020 in my opinion.

The price ...the Flagship attitude that was the strong card of this company. So you have it with 10T!! So simple sooooo simple !!
Yeah the 10T's build is not great, creaked in my hand like it could snap, feels cheaper than it's price tag and compared to older OP models at the same level it's not as competitive. Sorry dude. I'm a big OP fan. If you test the phone yourself let me know your thoughts.
All That...But Only 4800mAh Battery...Couldn't Even Go All The Way To At Least 5000mAh...I Dont Understand Why Phone Manufacturers Are Doing Such Crap...It's Bloody Ridiculous!...
Marketing. Fast charging - smaller battery. Slow charging - larger battery. Basically people want the fast charging, so the manufacturers purposely keep the battery smaller. Anyway, this is the fastest charging available for the biggest battery amount. I would've thought they'd add a 4500 mAh battery, but then surprisingly they stuck to 4800. So it's better than nothing.
Because there are 2 batteries inside so you can simultaneously charge each for 75 watts (hence, having 150w charging speed), and there are no available 2,500mAh battery cells.
@@akirakurusu4309 I saw the video too, but the guy uses a good amount of force to break the phone. Why would a regular phone owner even attempt to do that in real life? Does the phone overheat under normal/intense use? Is the wifi connectivity stable and reliable? Is the phone slippery or does it require a cover at all costs? Etc.
