Thank you, this pattern is a lot of fun to make. I decided to do a number of different flower and heart pieces blocks for my quilt to make up a sampler. Two things you have inspired me: one, to piece the pieces, genius, and they turned out just great. Also, to do a sampler, which you showed a sampler quit you made for backing techniques. You are a great tutor. Piecing the pieces also gave me freedom to use a lot of scraps, too. You showed me how fun this can be.
Thanks Kristen i love your heart and really want to learn how to do this just not sure how to get started. Will the templates you mentioned easier to work with? Thanks Sandy.
They are right sides together when sewn using a quarter inch seam. Just like standard piecing but following the lines on the printed pattern to sew on. Does that make sense? Or am I answering the wrong thing?

There are loads of things you can do with this block - what would you make?
A baby quilt mixed with plain blocks, a table topper, wall hanging, don't in rainbow colors to show love equality, make it the front of a tote bag.
@@Vintagekindagirl3 so many suggestions! Love them all!

Thanks Sandy.
If you have the templates printed out you can follow along much easier with the video. It would be pretty hard to do it without them!
Are you lining up the next fabric with the previous one sewn or over lapping?
