My skills.. 30+ years in the business. as a pro drummer with 14 of those years on the high-end of the business. Travis is good at what he does... but far from one of the best as you say. That statement alone shows the depth of your drumming skills knowledge
William Dickinson How do you know he has practically zero nuance? Just because he never has to play a certain style doesn't mean he can't do it. He's found out what works for him and he's stuck with it. He's very good at that style and like it or not he has inspired thousands of kids to become drummers. Isn't that what music is all about? Congrats on your studio drumming career. I'm sure you're a very proficient drummer but don't put down other drummers because you don't like his style.
