That's actually what they do for mcdonalds fries They add salt and sugar together. I'm excited to make these in my air fryer tomorrow! I'm excited, thank you for the recipe😊
I’m here 6 months later… (hi 😅) to add that scientist have found that our brains find the combination of salt/sugar/fat addictive. Almost every food on the market contains some form and combination of fat, sugar, and salt. It makes you keep eating, want more, and crave it later. McDonalds fries for example. That’s all, sorry for the interruption.
@@johnsenderman2462 bro, seasoning the breading isn't seasoning the chicken. Who tf seasons chicken with salt and sugar? No wonder everyone thinks white people can't cook.
Next level try the chicken in a food processor to make a paste. Throw it in the fridge to firm up - form the chicken into nuggies. Everything is the same from there.
Ground chicken, 1 egg, season it, mix together, shape into nuggets, place onto nonstick paper, freeze for 20 min. Take out, coat them in bread crumbs and spray with olive oil and bake for 15-20 min on 400°. Serve with dipping sauce and that’s it. Easy, WAY HEALTHIER and not much dishes to do after.

@@Julie_Mango Really. You are that desperate to give kids sugar that you hide it in chicken? Don't kids get too much sugar as it is? You need to disguise it as food? Why don't you make two batches of this. One with sugar and one without and see if it tastes any different. My guess is you will not be able to tell the difference which makes hiding sugar in chicken even more unconscionable. But hey, they are your kids.
People who have a problem with the tiny amount of sugar should look at any bag of frozen nuggets at the store and will see, that's how you season nuggets. If you don't like it, leave it out. Jesus.
Yeah, he DID say salt & sugar . . . I'd be seasoning my raw chicken with a little seasoned salt, garlic powder & onion powder. Then I'd use those same seasonings in my flour along with a little paprika. But that's just me.
@cookinginthemidwest:• 1 TBSP of powdered sugar
• 2 TBSP of garlic powder
• 1 1/2 tsp of salt
• 1 TBSP each of paprika and chili powder

Please tell me why the sugar?
Yum looks easy. Thanks for sharing the recipe. 😋
Can still see the raw flour on them. I’m also wondering why the sugar..twice!
the flour isn't raw actually, I remember learning in class
once it hits the oven at 350 for like 5-10 mins
it needs to go back in for color
No there isn't go away ! And sugar helps balance out different flavors it also brings out flavors

you should brine it in sugar water first and then sprinkle powdered sugar on it before you serve it, Maybe put some donut glaze out for dipping
