    I’d love to see a video that puts all of these guitars head to head once and for all - the Tim Henson and other Ibanez, the Stage, and the Ortega. Honestly, I think it’s a case of different strokes for different folks - not only totally, but especially where the necks are concerned and the type of music people might be playing, as well as whether it’s rhythm playing or leads being played on them. Of course anyone can play anything on any guitar, technically speaking, but there’s definitely advantages to some of these guitars vs. others depending on the genre. For instance, the Stage has a wide nut width that’s closer to a classical guitar’s. The Tim Henson has a narrower one with a slightly radiused neck that most electric players will feel more at home playing. I can’t speak so much to the Ortega specs because I’m unfamiliar, but it looks wider than the TH and hard to tell if it has any radius.
    Thing is, you didn’t really tell us WHY you prefer the Ortega over the TH. What specifically makes it feel more playable to you? Is it a different neck profile? The nut width? Is the radius different?
    That being said, it would help us to understand the differences if you could get hold of these guitars to do a comparison - like the ULTIMATE comparison that really helps people see, hear, and fully understand which type of player might gravitate to each guitar and why. It would also help to hear them all both plugged in to an amp direct (no tones/pedals except for anything on board the guitar), as well as an acoustic unplugged comparison. Any chance you can borrow all of these guitars from the companies or elsewhere to do something like this?
    Ultimately, I don’t think any of these guitars are bad. I just think it depends a lot on the type of player a person is and what someone’s experience is with playing both acoustic and electric guitars, as well as whether someone is playing at home or live, that might determine what feels most comfortable and “at home” for each person.

    I would like to see what the Ibanez nylon electric which is around $200 cheaper than the Tim Henson is like for myself. Really would like to get one in my hands.

      It's ok. Lacks volume control and the fretboard is a lil dry imo

    • @MashaT22
      @MashaT22 7 месяцев назад +1

      People say it’s the exact thing but lacks the on board pre-amp/amp. If you’re going to plug it in, you’re going to want a external pre-amp/amp system or some sort of boost pedal to increase the volume because the volume will be lower than the TH if you plug in direct to the guitar’s jack. I would say that’s the main selling point of Tim’s - you don’t have to bother with any external electronics beyond an amp . . . thought you certainly can if you want to change up the tones!

      I love it that this polyfia kid found a deprecated semi acoustic Ibanez guitar, that failed in it's market a long time ago, partly because it was terrible but mainly because no one wanted it, but since he is famous among kids that don't know any better, and shits gold for some reason, now that miserable guitar is back.
      It's back due to his coercion upon Ibanez, practically by throwing a tantrum that he wanted it back, Ibanez upper management somehow now is profiting from this irrational hype, allowing that monstrosity to linger in our existence.
      That guitar continues to be terrible, everyone that falls into the hype will get burned, it's terrible by design and not only that, QC is terrible.
      Kids, don't blindly follow what other people do, think for yourself, be yourself. A friend of mine fell into the trap, and now sits at home disappointed he even bought this piece of crap 😂😂
