Watching your fantastic Korean cooking tutorials from my "secret" retirement location in Bulcan province, on Luzon island, Philippines. I am happy to report that there is a growing number of small Korean markets opening in our area. They do not stock everything but enough to get us started. I am having a blast attempting to cook the many styles from the surrounding region. Thank you for your time and effort to produce these great videos.

Thank you so much for this video! This was one of my favorite Banchans at the only local Korean Restaurant to me. While, I'm wicked happy for the owners, and their well deserved retirement, I miss their cooking terribly. I will definitely give this a try!

    Hi Helen
    Love your instructional videos.
It’s especially helpful for those who did not grow up with Korean cuisine.
    I have a few questions…
    1) what is the pressure time on an instantpot? Is it 1 minute on high with a 20 min natural release?
    2) can I use sushi or nori sheets instead of kelp?
    3) Can I use American black beans found in the dry bean aisle that are next to pinto beans, navy beans etc?
    Thx 👍

Hi! Just follow the same recipe from when I start cooking in the pan. It is best to use beans that r slightly undercooked, not overcooked soft beans. Hope this helps🙏
