The only reason I went and looked up this video. I was listening to the original and wondered how the song would have sounded if only the guitarist would have been on time.
I was listening to honeymoon suites love changes everything, and the guitar at 0:41 (on honeymoon suites official video) sounds a lot like the initial segment to this song.
I didn't use tab. I figured it out by ear, and then played it from memory. It is critical for every musician to develop their ear. I would recommend that you use the video as a visual reference, and then try to figure out the notes by ear, one phrase at a time. If you still need help, then book some lessons with a guitar teacher. A teacher can also give you some valuable feedback on your phrasing, feel, and timing, once you learn to play the notes (that is something that you can't get from a RUclips video). The way that you phrase the notes is just as important as playing the correct notes. As a matter of fact, I recorded this video shortly after learning the notes, and truth be told, my phrasing could have been way better if I had practiced it for a few days/weeks before filming this. Good luck!
