yay! so true - can you believe? i´m german, but i listen to african music since the 70s - during the 80s and 90s we had many african musicians here in germany and i saw countless of them live: king sunny adé from nigeria, the mahotella queens from south africa, omou sangaré (i don´t know, from burkina faso?) and the kalifi dance ensemble from ghana (several times) to name the most famous ones - i have found many nice new songs lately in youtube, but when i just stumbled upon this, my heart also jumped with joy, the good old school, incredible! LOVE those singing guitars, and when the melodica just set in, it almost brought me to tears - i have played reggae for several decades, and since agustus pablo the melodica is well known in that music, and i used it so often myself... :-) love and greetings from germany
Now they just need to add the badass Horn section, make the bass phatter and drop that tune that just makes you wanna dance. They have just released a song with vocals so I am waiting to hear that. Their vocals must also be tight then so long as their live performance delivers, they are good to hit the world stage.
