Last week my trading was good and i was making money then all of a sudden this week it all went to sh*t and i couldn't understand why cause i was using the same strategy. So thanks for the vid.

Low volume is mostly directional. Identify the trend get along for the ride. Move your stop loss up and trail a runner.

it depends. I crushed it like crazy during December, and during the summer when supposedly your not supposed to trade. It was actually January when i was getting killed, but February more than made up for it.

I noticed low volume just on Demo account. I had to go to a 2nd pair to meet meet my daily quote. Still made it but I just had to go to another asset. I might slow down this month

OMG I did not know what will happen to the mkt in Dec month. Just on first day of 12/23 mkt trapped many trader on every movement . So better to do hard work for next year rather than blown account. Thanks for advise.

It depends on your strategy. I still trade on December.
Right. I think what you have to do is be prepared to “adjust” your strategy, especially after this current run up. I’m expecting a pullback but not counting on it. Low volatility can suck, especially if you’re trading options. I’m gonna trade the month and not expect huge profits. Take what the market gives you and appreciate it.
The first 30 to 45 minutes is gonna be the best opportunity for gains if you’re scalping, after that you’re pretty much playing with fire.
Get in, get out and run like hell.

Thanks for the information Arty but this is not what I wanted to hear. I just hit phase 2 in my 100k FTMO challenge and had a goal of becoming funded this month. To not trade at all is unimaginable for me and I don't think I could do it.
Well, I can’t keep you from doing it
If you’re a scalper bro you should not have a problem catching 10-20 pips a day. You’ll be okay. I made 4% on my FTMO funded account last year in mid December and stopped trading until January.
I'm going to continue as well but be risk averse- see profit, take profit! Act like every trade is a scalp to avoid getting caught in consolidation or a return to the point it started from.

I am a trader and an investor. I never got into day trading. I don't have access to raw market data just candle sticks.
I like to trade sideways stocks like IWM for example. I bought around 165 and sold around 190 and entered short a few times this year. I did call / put leaps.
For some reason IWM gapped up into 200 this week when I was ready to sell at a lower price so it was pretty cool. I also got the 200 strike puts leaps instead of 190 or 195 this time so that is a bonus.
Hopefully IWM continues the pattern of going sideways for all of eternity, but eventually the trend will end and take my shit and throw it out the window.

Yeah, Im starting to sink this in, i gone into one of the worst moving trades I done all year. The most frustrating moving trade I gone in. But im sticking it out to live and learn :)

Who’s a good broker to go with currently with FX pro but they only allow 1:30 leverage and only allow me to place 0.01 , 0.02, 0.03 lot size only some tell me a regulated trustworthy broker to go with?

But Arty , what percentage of capital gains tax are you paying for the fx pairs you trade?
Im a new trader, been studying and doing demo for a couple of years trading fx.
I just funded my account and im up about 45 % percent in profit in 3 weeks trading XAUUSD because I learned that the CG Tax on fx pairs in over 50% …. Should I stick to commodities because of the lower CG Tax or go back Forex ?? 😥
