    What is scalping?
    Scalping is a trading strategy designed to profit from small price changes, with profits on these trades taken quickly and once a trade has become profitable. All forms of trading require discipline, but because the number of trades is so large, and the gains from each individual trade so small, a scalper must have a rigid adherence to their trading system, avoiding one large loss that could wipe out dozens of successful trades.
    Scalpers will take many small profits, and not run any winners, in order to seize gains as and when they appear. The aim is for a successful trading strategy through the large number of winners, rather than a few successful trades with large winning sizes.
    Scalping relies on the idea of lower exposure risk, since the actual time in the market on each trade is quite small, lessening the risk of an adverse event causing a big move. In addition, it takes the view that smaller moves are easier to get than larger ones, and that smaller moves are more frequent than larger ones.

    Hi Arty. Please explain. The williams indicator only prints the factal arrow after 2 candles have printed, so to generate the arrow signal it's 5 candles in total for the equation. 2 candles before that are higher than the 3rd (middle candle) then followed by the last 2 candles (4 & 5 if they print higher than the middle which is 3) and at that point the signal is generated.
    Throughout your video you're showing entry points on the first candle after the signal is printed, but this signal would not be printed on screen until 2 candles later so for example your trade at 8:55 is completely wrong for the entry point as price was already 2 candles down for this short signal to be printed on your screen, and if you shorted that there it's an instant loss.

    Answer about fractal by him (he forget to pinned it)
    In regards to today’s video. I’m getting a lot of comments about the fractal indicator that it’s prints the signal later then I showed in the video making the entry point different. Yes the indicator is a lagging indicator. As are all indicators, That take into consideration other candles. It was my mistake for not clarifying this in the video. The basic concept is waiting for a rejection off a moving average. So even if you get in on the position once the signal prints 2 candles later the strategy still works in getting you your entry point and not letting a good trade pass you by. If you see a candle moving very quickly you can actually get in before the triangle prints knowing that it will. Keep the stoploss where i said. And use proper risk management. Once you demo and forward test for a week you will be able to see the entry point without the indicator. Indicators are there to help you see things you wouldn’t normally see. Over time trading the same pair over and over you see the momentum more clearly. This video was meant to help you pull the trigger on ur trade. Simply. Don’t over think it. Get in. Get out. Quick. It’s scalping

    I just wanted to pause the video for a second and say thank you for all of your help brother. I’ve been on this journey for about three years now. I’ve taken multiple academies, and I have to say that coming across your teachings has been the most valuable of all. I haven’t even started my first funded account yet, but every time I tune in here I feel like I’m getting that much closer to my life changing forever. Side Note: I also want to say to anyone else reading this comment. Whenever I tune into this RUclips channel, even though I’m only working on a demo account right now, I always almost immediately go into profit. As soon as I stop watching these videos, I start losing trades. I don’t care how good you get, never stop studying. If you’re trading, you need to be studying and manicuring your craft regularly. This right here is a great place to do it. Salute brother.

    Great video. In my experience with this exact strategy, a 7-pip profit target has a higher success rate due to spreads. On the major pairs, I only shoot for 5 pips due to less volatility and lower ATR than say the GBP/JPY.
    The other issue I ran into: Always waiting for the moving average crossover. It’s not that often the crossover happens at a time that’s remotely convenient for someone trying to have a normal life schedule.
    Because of this, I alter the approach slightly by disregarding the crossover all together and just make sure the MA’s are aligned in the right direction and wait for a pullback into the 21ema or the 50ema with fractal confirmation.
    Cheers!

    • @snorider686
      @snorider686 2 года назад

      Hey Andy-man, The 200MA crossover doesn't happen as I would like either. I like your thoughts on the 21/50ema bounce. Do you add in RSI over 50 or any other confluences - it seems like this isn't nearly as effective as the first fractal after a 200MA cross.

I started with $1,200 (that's just how much I happen to be able to lose comfortably) and as of right now, I'm at $3,550. I am having some issues with the fractals popping up too late, but they are almost an afterthought. I'm watching for divergence, or engulfing candles mostly instead. It seems as I'm watching more of your videos and implementing more of your advice, like the journal, my results are getting better. Another month of this, I may just open a live account. Thank you for this.

    Hey Arty,
    Thanks for the great content. It's a very good strategy and I've been using it on euro and the other scalping method on Aussie.
    As for the fractals, not wanting to come across as defending anyone, I've come to understand from this video that, we get ready to enter trade once the SMMAs aligned buy or sell and the first fractal printed before the crossing is a buy or sell respectively. Also the price closing price is above the smma or rejecting it or the printed candle bars. Yup, we look to enter on the second candle from the printed fractal. Or you could wait for a big asssss candle bar.
    Fractals to show momentum as a confluence with others.
    I'm strictly using 10pips. (Edited)

    the biggest thing I would add is that you need a reason from a higher timeframe to get into a trade.
    if everything you've shown shows you an entry (RSI+Fractals+3MA) - you need a level of support/resistance from a 1HR/4HR level to be in sync with your entry.

    Though I don't get about entry point moment.
    Fractals are formed around a group of five consecutive candlesticks, the first two of which are successively reaching higher (or diving deeper) and the last two descending lower (or growing higher) with the middle one being the highest (or the lowest) result in the group accordingly.
    Having that in mind when you show your entry point by that time there shouldn't be fractal singal formed yet.

    • @thevibrationbaby
      @thevibrationbaby 2 года назад +8

      I was thinking the same thing - Williams Fractals print on a -2 candle offset. Therefor your entry signal will be 2x candles late cutting deep into your profit range.

    Nice Video but the Fractals is lagging indicator, because of lagging nature you will get buy and sell signal after two candles move. This will still work in a big trends but if the market is sideways which is roughly 60% of the time then you will loose most of the trade ... it is really tricky to identify the big trends as all the big trends starts after the consolidation.

  • @gentsla1343
    @gentsla1343 2 года назад +13

    Instead of moving your rsi 70 and 30(I use these for another strategy)
    You can use a horizontal line. Place it on the rsi and in settings of the line you can make sure it's at 50 and whatever thickness and colour you want ;)
    Cheers

    • @georgebrandon7696
      @georgebrandon7696 Год назад +4

      He does this because he doesn't believe in the "overbought" or "oversold" concept (most scalpers do not). Therefore, he'll never use the 70/30 part of rsi. He removes those lines from the chart so people aren't tempted to think that way.

    🔴 if you wana learn how to become a successful day trader watch this video
    ruclips.net/video/MsIR3IYrB1k/видео.html
Get in. Get out. Quick. It’s scalping @everyone

    Thanks for the strategy. Now, main problem would be how to look for that pair that meets all those conditions, specially the one of grabing the first move after the crossing of the MAs. In my case trading crypto, rare is the time I got just in time for those moves, so I usually end up getting on the trend, and you cannot imagine how many times I got stopped out trying to grab those 10 pips... not sure if I'm suffering from the side effects of trading in December, but I end most days breaking even.
