I really did it. I watched 165 minutes about the Revv Generator 120. I wouldn't even buy the amp because I'm a lousy old late bloomer. Still, the 165 minutes was better than any Hollywood blockbuster. And why? Because you can learn so much from Henning's videos. Thanks for that! In the end, I also get a good sound bite out of my little pet Eddie, who is a dog when it comes to lunchtime.... speaking of lunch, Revv also makes some lunchbox amps...I'm thinking about it....
WOW, that idea with miking the back of the cab is actually amazing. one could mix the signals of two mikes, one on the front full cone blast, and one in the rear for the room effect and other frequencies different that the range captured on the front. excellent!!
Here’s another option for you, Henning. if you bypass the mics in the software you get a dry signal ( no cab ) but retain the eq, reverb, enhancer and twin tracker functions. Just another option for getting signals into the DAW/ Mixer. I sometimes do this running an amp through captor x into a line 6 powercab so I get the benefit of the powercab speaker models but keep the reverb etc.
Teaching the dog piano didn’t work out so now you’re trying to teach the cat video editing 😹and also another very through review of another great Revv product 👏🏼🤘🏻
All six episodes done. Ok, for music, this has a much better sound track. The cinematography goes for a " Blair Witch " shot simply approach, which actually works for it's straight forward presentation. It also gives you the option of watching an episode as a stand alone, obviously not the case in the other. And the quite likable, sharp, articulate, but slightly goofy character of "Henning " can almost hang w Kevin Spacey's complex, nuanced "Frank". In the end it's like comparing Apples to Oranges, but I guess over all I preferred " House of Cards " as mini series go. But watch both.
@@EytschPi42 You re right , I should have referenced some multi camera interior only sitcom instead. But anyway, you did your usual great job, keeping my interest thru 6 episodes about an amp I can't afford to buy. I was just going for a little comedy and in NO way was I disparaging you or your excellent presentations. Its always hard to tell the motive behind reading something vs hearing it.
Hey Henning, I own the Revv 120 MK2 with a captor x, is there a big difference between the MK2 vs mk3 (tonally) that would be worth it to sell the MK2 for the MK3...??? Just curious...Thanks...!!!

REVV ...8 hours from the cottage... 13 hours from the house ...me be visiting REVV soon.
Mic the back of the cab?
Sure - would work just fine for an open backed cab.
I am really interested in this!
He had you at Revv 🥺
And I like mini serieses
Roots, V, etc.
Keep my vh4 or get this?

I don't understand the "Blair Witch" comment... not s single camera is moving. What are you referring to?
