    I liked when Zelenka was recording a video message to his family and was giving away all the secrets. He was such perfect pair with McKay, really enjoyed their scenes. Especially when McKay nearly ascends.

      Well it was recorded in 2005, people have forgotten how bad cameras were that weren’t high end back then because we have such good ones in our phones now.

      1. I don't use smartphones.
      2. Analog cameras have been high quality for decades. They were certainly not bad in 2005. Even the digital ones were far better than this low resolution mess.
      3. The real issue is probably the upload format or the fact that it's filmed on a shitty 2005 webcam or something.
      4. Even in 2005, you should use something higher quality to film a David Nykl interview)
      5. "people have forgotten" is such an overused trope. Don't romanticize the present to criticize the past and vice versa.
      6. Have a nice day!

    Did anyone ever translate What he said at 8:00? :)

    • @Honzas4400
      @Honzas4400 5 лет назад +17

      The way he says it is pretty 'twitchy' and extremely casual and informal. What he basically says is: "I don't get it at all... What are you thinking, that I... will just sit here like this and talk to you just like that? Well.. Ok, then, let's try it..."
      A little more elegant translation would've been: "I seriously don't get it, you really think I'm just going to sit here and talk to you [like this/like nothing]? Well... Ok, then, let's try it...", though it loses a bit of that 'charm'.

      Translate of Jan Kalný is right, first is really pure, as he said. It´s a benefit of being Czech too ;).

      Yea, it´s a humor at start, that they looked for Russian and they liked his video...Czech Republic is totally in a middle of Europe (yea, we have a statue on the precise middle on that spot ;) ).

    I wish the captions on the show told you what he was saying in Ukrainian...had no clue he could speak it fluently until I listened to some episode commentaries. They always sound hilarious

      Not Ukrainian, you better Czech yourself before you wreck yourself.

      Why all the negative comments? Obviously this characters nationality is not that important enough for this person to remember.

      @@Animalwon Well then the person is ignorant enough to confuse two totally different countries with different cultures and different histories only because they both have a Slavic language. That's ignorant at best, pretty racist at worst. Of course people will get offended by that.
