Good stuff. Keep bringing the good work Phil.
Thanks very much!
Just found this channel..there are so many videos that tend to take 20mins to start then 2 mins of info.. this is quite useful and thank you for taking the time.
@@mattuboyle5891 You're very welcome - I'm glad you like the short format.
I used to log, but now i just train really hard and eat like a beast and remember the weight and up it as the time goes by. I count the reps of my heaviest movements and remember so i know if i am progressing or not.
Very helpful!!
Thanks - glad you found it useful!
Could you please explain to me why it is benefitial to write down the warmup sets? What can i learn from them in the future?
Thanx a lot brother! This helps using the limited space of A6 notebook
You're welcome - I'm glad to hear it helped!
Nice info, thanks for the content. I find it hard to keep notebooks with the information of each training because it can get a hard to compare specific things through time. I'm starting to use an App called training tracker that let's me compare how I'm progressing through the mesocycles. I already bring the phone to the gym anyways.
If it allows you to keep track of your training, keep good notes, and be consistent with it, it’ll work!
Thanks a lot sir
You’re very welcome - I’m glad you found it useful.
Why is the notation initially "sets x reps" reverse to be "weight x reps x sets", why not be consistent and make the initial notation "reps x sets" ?
yes this. Thought I was going crazy
It's hard to hear the audio, my volume is turned as high as it will go.
Hmm… that’s interesting. I just double-checked the audio by listening to it on my phone, and I have my phone’s volume only halfway turned up, and I would not want to play it any louder than that. If, by chance, you are listening to this on your computer, then you might want to take a look at the RUclips volume control (it’s in the bottom left of the RUclips player). As this is a separate volume control from your computer’s volume control, if it is set low, that could explain it.
