    How much do you love your SM7B?

    • @Bardorah

      I love my shure but it sounds a little bit to muddie , maybe because of my voice or my interface

    • @thenewgamers7382
      @thenewgamers7382 2 года назад +6

      It’ll sound muddy if you a cloud lifter on it, for the simple reason the cloud lifter will boost the bass in your vocals, as without the cloud lifter you’ll have a more clearer but maybe quieter sound slightly.

    Thank you for your video but I have a question. When you inquire about the setup to buy to operate an SM7B, there is very often the answer: a Cloudlifter amplifier and a Scarlett solo. My question is: Does the Elgato Wave XLR replace these two elements and does the job better or worse? Because I love the design of the Elgato Wave XLR but I prefer quality.
    Thanks !

    • @coach.b
      @coach.b Год назад

      You can use the SM7B direct into your Scarlett studio i.e. mic to amp device via an XLR connection. It does not need the 78v phantom power to work but if you feel a need to use it you can turn it on on the Scarlett solo.
      I never do and my audios are always as clear as I need them to be.

    hello very nice review. I have a qeustion
    I bought a shure SM7B from someone. The products looks legit (weight, look, serial number, etc). But in the manual, somewhere, the word microphone is not write correctly.. it is (microphoen). This is a mistake on all manuals or do I have a fake product?
    It also does not have the Shure TradeMark logo on the back of the microphone!?

      That depends on your audio interface, if it has only 50dB of gain you need additional 10+ extra gain, SM7B is sensitive from -60dB of gain, so 60 and more
