- Two marvellous weeks of great biathlon took place in Nove Mesto na Morave for the BMW IBU World Championships. France closed at the top of the medal table, ahead of Norway, while Italy was third, but plenty more surprises and great stories took place in Moravia and we tried to wrap them up in these highlights.

I don't know why, but there's something with Justine that makes me emotional and proud. I think it's because she has such an endearing personnality.
I was very happy for Julia, after all she managed to get back like fire! Very awesome! Very deserved! 💪🏻
Loved seeing the Estonians do so well in the relays - especially the women's where it really looked like they might get a medal for so long.
Can't believe that Rastorgujevs' silver in the mass start didn't get a mention - fantastic, unexpected medal built on a clear shoot (one of only two in the event).
Les françaises et les français ont vraiment fait un boulot incroyable et je félicite vraiment toutes les équipes pour leur courage et leur persévérance.
Sinon la musique vas très bien avec la vidéo.

Julia is definitely the Queen of the World Championship, I'm so happy for her! Yet, Justine, when she shoots well, is a beast :) All in all, the French team was incredible! My sincere congratulations! 🇫🇷🔥
The Norwegians, as always, are topnotch! JT Bo - How my French friends call him "Jo-Jo" - is out of this world! :) 🇳🇴
Ukrainian team, I love you so much! 🇺🇦 ❤ In the conditions that we all live now and you have to train now, you are all heroes! 💪
These were probably the best world championships I've ever seen. It's all relative but for me they were. Filled with surprises and amazing performances, including the French team's quadruple feat. And I'm so happy for Julia. Her focus this season was these championships and she more than accomplished her goals. ❤ 🥇 🥇 🥇 🥇 🥉 🎉

shocked at this as well, this man made the biggest accomplishment for Latvia in biathlon and most importantly for himself, at 35, winning his so well deserved first WC medal
They only mentioned gold medalists like they didn't talk about the unexpected silver from Janina Hettich-Waltz either

It's probably due to his doping. Now there will always be doubt about his performance and the ibu will no longer want to highlight him.
So happy for the French team, especially Julia, who is a complete and awesome athlete ! So much perseverance and a second year that goes into her personal history ! So proud of herself and of what she accomplishes 🤩 You have not finished hearing the name of Julia Simon 💥

@Biathlonworld You forgot the French women team having the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place in the sprint.
The 1st and also the last time a women team had that kind of performance in a race was the USSR women in 1984 !!!
