Naw, live 09 and 10 were still 🔥. EA always fuck up when they launch on a new console especially the first few years. Live 09 picked live back up in that generation. Then, live 18 was the next decent one after '10. 2k definitely took over when 2011 came out. It was over after that.
Back in the day I compared this game to a fighting style game. Whoever could master the controls and combos would be a better player rather than who was playing as the better team. I still think a game like this would be amazing but the learning curve would be insane for everyone.

Y’all can’t lie this game do look clean though. Also the mechanics look fun no basketball game has ever implemented them. Looks like it actually takes skills.

Dude I was thinking the exact same thing in my head like a minute before I read your comment. This game seems super deep end like it has a massive learning curve but once you get past it seems like you have more control over your game than you do and many other basketball games

Then we got phoned in animations in 2k22 thanks to Mike Wang and he's destroying 2k but we got no other options. Live 18 felt a lot like early mid 2000s but they did nothing more with 19 and so live has been buried since and now Wang is ruining 2k.

Because 95% of the ppl buys the game to play mainly or only my career (me included). Not justifying, just explaining why it happens.my career is a scam and gets worse every year.
