It was me that said something about the differentials. And I said that my servo went out today well I came home and threw a different radio and receiver in it and what do you know everything works perfect again. I absolutely love the truck I do know a couple people that have broken the rear turn buckles. But they put the Kaiju ones on and they’re good to go. This thing is a complete different animal on 6S though
I think this is the 3rd MT8 that I have seen break the rear turnbuckle first time out, seems they need to address this problem the same as Redcat had to do with the later Kaiju model.

Hi Razor! Been waiting for this. Would you say the handling character of this is better than the mt10. I know the power would be more but as a handling standpoint which do you think is the better handling one?
Razor I have a question. What do the numbers correlate one through five on the program card I can’t find any info on them. I’m pretty sure one is the running mode and I think 4 is your punch mode but I don’t know what the other ones are
AE is pretty late to the show and nothing that separates the MT8 from the crowd. The plastic used in this (and the MT10) does appear to be a bit fragile but it still seems like a good truck and price is very competitive. Personally, I'd spend $80-$100 more and get the Kraton, though.
Overall, do you think this is a better option than most other 4s-6s trucks out right now, or what others do u think compare favorably to this truck... I like AE, for race vehicles, but this in my mind isn't really an AE... does look like a decent truck with a good servo, radio swap, and some Lundsfords and fluids before ever using it...lol Do you think out of the box, that the MT10, or Aarma 4s or 6s trucks might be a better option to just buy it, and run it... ? Amazing driving like always. Looks like on 4s it has plenty of power. Hey razor, can you finish the review and setup recommendation for xmaxx. I just got one used for 450$ with hobbywing electronics, I would like to see your setup
Nice truck. IMHO if you already have a Kaiju or a Kaiju EXT don't bother. Not enough differences between the vehicles when it comes to bashing and sending it. Maybe around the track the MT8 would sweep the floor with the Kaiju, but TBH I'm not much of a racer. More of a basher. I guess if you don't have either, get the MT8. It looks like it's going to have the same weaknesses as the Kaiju and hopefully the metal chassis holds up on the MT8 and it doesn't bend like most stock chassis due when jumping high. I would still wait a bit and see a few more big jumps and see what happens. If the chassis bends, then that would make the MT8 WORSE than the Kaiju. MHO. Great driving as usual bud!
Yeah that's the reason I didn't grab one as well. It's definitely too similar to a kaiju so doesn't warrant the 500$ purchase. And like you said the chassis wasn't an issue on the kaiju so isn't necessarily an upgrade and In the long-term might be a downgrade
