  • Explore the mindset of RAF Typhoon fighters Lieutenant Buzz and Commander Robbo as they discuss their most dangerous frontline missions. How does a RAF fighter react when a Russian missile is released in international airspace? When a radio operator is shot by the Taliban, how does this affect the RAF’s decision making? The stakes are high.

With unpredictable global leaders, & certain multi billionaires now in power, making decisions that affect us all, the world has become very unstable indeed. These boys and girls are very much at the sharp end!
    Huge respect for them

Awesome but lonely experience, sounds about right. When you think about what these guys have to do - to kill, it's crazy

When was the last time a RAF pilot was shot down? Bosnia, Gulf war?Yet we have literally hundreds of Army soldiers killed in Afghanistan, Iraq and previously in Northern Ireland. Highly likely there were Special Forces deaths in Syria. These guys are still dining out on the Battle of Britain. Infantry soldiers often go back to a camp bed, these guys go back to the Officers Mess.

By reusing the exact same clips, like of Ben Wallace talking about the RJ being shot at, the cockpit audio recording from the Russian jet and to be honest, the whole Rivet Joint scene.
The previous episode focused on them intercepting the Iranian missiles, this episode is just full of waffling.

I totally agree with interceptions of Russian aircraft over the North Sea but "flying over the Black Sea in international waters"... is nowhere near the UK and irrespective of it being in international waters doesn't mean we have to be there as it isn't defensive. It's provocative. FAFO. When will we learn that it may be in our best interest not to stick our noses in other people's business.

So flying over international waters if provocative? Russian bootlicker. Protecting international waters is everyone’s business.

FAFO works both ways, as the Russians are slowly learning in Ukraine.

It's in our interest to help protect our NATO allies. They will be our first line of defence. I agree with you though FAFO. Try us Ivan

Abdul, quick question, what came first, Russian interference in the North Sea or us over the Black Sea. Take all the time you need.
