Ruby is the first one and scrim is the second... ruby got addicted to opiates at 13 and used to smoke crack too... scrim started using a lil bit after ruby but they both ended up being pill heads and scrim ended up doing heroin and fentanyl and almost died in 2017-2018... scrim has been sober since then and ruby has been sober for a few years now but still smokes weed... imo ruby is the best lyricist on the planet and scrim is insanely good lyrically too but scrim makes 95% of the beats... when making the group they made a pact that if they didnt make it in the music game by 30 they would off themselves hence the name... culture based on dying is because the music is about their depression, addiction, suicide, but with hope and help sprinkled in... they both have solo projects too, ruby does solo punk music with the name Duckboy and scrim does solo rap... scrims last solo project had 44 songs in 1 album lol

Btw Scrim( the second guy) makes every single beat, and in pretty much every song he sample an old south rap song from the 90s he is a genius producer. Rubys(the first guy) flows are unmatched. They have been intependent for 10 years and now are finally getting the recognition they deserve.

High Tide was their first project that really popped but it was probably like the 15th or 16th they released, it's the same aesthetic but also a totally different sound, way more underground sounding and you can hear how heavy off the drugs they were back then from the lyrics and their voices
