Someone needs to monitor the voting and counting of votes. Here in NZ the Labour government has been ruthless and the Maori caucus has shown nothing but scorn for the democratic process. Rigging elections or referenda is now something to consider as a possibility and steps should be taken to ensure that the vote is not compromised

G'day troops. I continue to be very,very annoyed by the Australian media( and polies) constantly referring to our indigneous aborigines as "FIRST NATION'people.
WHY?
Because the use of the word "Nation" infers "the state or fact of being united or combined into one, as of the parts of a whole; unification. absence of diversity; unvaried or uniform character. oneness of mind, feeling, etc., as among a number of persons; concord, harmony, or agreement."
Our aborigines,during their 40,000 years in this continent were comprised of something like 900+ tribes....and the tribes were mostly in conflict over territorial disputes/claims. ( Not much has changed, huh?)
