My husband had a basil cell carcinoma on his face a couple of years ago. After the full body check, he said that he was never going back to the dermatologist again. I told him how does he think that women can handle being checked for our annual checkups. He will definitely be going to the dermatologist again for check-ups because his brother died when he was 34 from squamous skin cell carcinoma, that the doctors couldn't figure out what was the problem. It was behind his nose, and up front his throat so no one knew why he had this pain back there. It was stage 4 because it took so long for them to find it, and figure out what was going on. He even had a tooth fixed because they thought it could be that. It was just such an odd thing, that I'm sure does not happen very often. We are much older than you guys, and my husband is an electrician who does work outside in the summer and he does not wear sunscreen often. It's scary not knowing what something is when you find it and waiting for that answer. I'm so glad that you had it checked out when you noticed it. You handled that very well!!

Those stitches looked good, Glad everything went well! I second your advice on getting checked out. I had a lump on top of my head that turned out to be Carcinoma that I'm being treated for, problem is that the way my head is, it's not healing fast enough and have to have surgery to close it. It sucks but better than walking around with a hole on the top of my head.

if it’s in your hip i wouldn’t sit with your legs crossed or your leg up like that just to be on the safe side next time! it can open it if you move it a certain way. i hope you heal quickly!

That’s not bad. They did a good job. I had over 50 stitches from Basel cell removal on my face. It was so deep I had internal as well as external stitches
