I feel like he had noticed the pattern Madeline mentioned that she only really gets bad cramps on the first day. So when he said “it shouldn’t be hurting two days in a row” he meant since she was hurting yesterday. It can be normal for there to be cramps all days of the period just in case anyone was concerned.
